Pros: Very luxurious, extremely friendly staff and a probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. We were there for our wedding night and the hotel very kindly upgraded us to an executive suite. The fact the hotel manager had hand-written a (fairly lengthy) congratulations card, and left us some 'congratulations' sweets and cakes was also a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend for a treat or anyone looking for a bit of luxury in London.

Pros: Fantastic Hotel Experience! The room, lighting and British-ish decor of the room was just what we were looking for. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, the room luxurious and yet affordable compared to other 5 star hotels nearby (our stay was half the price of other 5 star hotels closer to Buckingham palace and with a kind bed). Centrally located, the Langham was only a 10 minute walk from public transportation and minutes away from a Starbucks. If traveling with an infant, you have access to a refrigerator and can request a crib. LOVED the club room w/ complementary breakfast (6:30-11am) and tea time (2-4pm) was a great treat! Access to two restaurants, a bar and cub room provided many food options. Morning and evening room service was very luxurious. Definitely coming back and recommending.
Cons: Front entrance does not have a ramp BUT there is a side elevator (important if you have a stroller). The bed we had seemed old as there was a BIG dent from where most guests must've slept (to be fair, most hotels are this way). I know this hotel had a pool, but for some reason I didn't see a sign for it, or perhaps we never noticed it.

Cons: The price is high but you get much more than you pay for.

Pros: My daughter and I were greeted like we were royalty. Everybody is friendly, efficient and professional. The Ritz is gorgeous and always clean. The servers are very proper and the food was fabulous. I would highly recommend The Ritz, because you will certainly not be disappointed.

Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually). Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

Pros: I have stayed at Hotel Russell now a number of times, both as a single traveler in a single room, a twin room with my mother, and a double room with my husband. All rooms were comfortable and spacious enough for our needs and comfort. Breakfasts are very good quality too! Staff polite and helpful and location brilliant.

Pros: The location was excellent on Russell Square with a Cafe Nero and Pret a Manger next door. The breakfast was excellent and I would highly recommend adding that to your package. The bathrooms were some of the largest I have seen in Europe.
Cons: The staff at Hotel Russell did not measure up to the overall customer service I experienced in England as a whole. They are less than accommodating to guests who booked through discount websites and treat guests who booked directly with them better. The interior is very dated and needs renovation. My friends room on the first night had a very strong cleaning chemical odor. It was unbearable for them because they have some sensitivities. The hotel was unable to move them to another room and we ended up switching rooms with them. The wifi at this hotel is spotty at best. I would not refuse to stay at this hotel again but I would probably avoid it.

Difficult to get into the room because a large cupboard had been situated directly insider the door, almost blocking the passageway into and out of the room.

Pros: Excellent location with easy access to both Russell Square and Holborn Tube stations. Lots of very good local pubs and eateries and only minutes away from the British Museum. My room was fairly large by English standards with a very nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast with a good selection of both cooked and cold items was available and included in the room rate.

Pros: The food was delicious! Breakfast consisted of Indian food and your traditional English breakfast. I am a vegan so I was very happy with the Indian food choices. The wait staff at the Hampton Bar was top notch. We never had to wait for anything. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was a lot of construction happening across the street when we visited, but that is no fault of the hotel. Our room was not facing the street, so it was not a disruption.

Pros: The hotel was sold out so the room they gave us through Kayak was not so good, a bit tarnished and with warning signs everywhere, We stayed in better rooms in this hotel in the past. They used to give us welcome notes and a fruit basket to thank us for coming back But, this time, no note, not a great room, as if they were indifferent because we had booked through Kayak (with which they are not partner). It was not possible to change for a better room for 4 days. Then, a wonderful attendant, Adriana moved us to a better room for an additional fee. So,we had s a better experience toward the end of the stay. I am a fan of the "free breakfast" which seem to attract a non-business crowd.... As a result, a loyal returning guests get a luck ward welcome.

Pros: This hotel offers a welcome change from the big American chain hotels. Although it is part of an Indian chain, it has managed to preserve an old world charm. The Christmas tree in the lobby along with all the comfy couches and the Elle lovely courtyard made it feel very cozy and comfortable.

Pros: We Loved Everything about the Radisson! You can not go wrong, the rooms are gigantic and with real king beds you get the most comfortable night sleep while in London out of anywhere! From the minute you walk in the door, the customer service is absolutely impeccable, they actually care about you, learn about you, remember you and it is so nice to feel that, especially after 12 hours of travelling across 8 time zones to get there. Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our state at The Conrad Hilton. The location was perfect and the staff very accommodating and friendly. I loved the fact that the underground station was direct across the street, so no need to cab or uber in from the airport. Such easy access to whatever we wanted to see and go, the entire time we were there.

Pros: Extremely tidy, practical, and functional. The staff bend over backwards to help with any little thing. The location can’t be beat — I walked to the British Museum in under half an hour, and just around the corner to Her Majest’s Theatre for Phantom. My room was quiet and windowless but I’m fine with small spaces; if you’re not traveling alone, you may feel cramped.

Pros: The location was excellent. The design and materials of the room are modern and quality. It was very clean and there was a clear focus on quality. The towels were as soft and huge as any hotel I've been in. the TV was huge relative to the size of the room. The bathroom fixtures were all very nice and the toiletries were also nice. If you are willing to trade a lot of space for a lower price (well, lower price for London) then this can be a value. It's also good if you plan not to spend much time in the hotel as it's comfortable for sleeping.
Cons: The reason the rooms are affordable is because the rooms are tiny. Seriously tiny...as in your bed spans the whole distance of a wall. There is no closet at all, and unless you get one of the larger rooms you'll have to put your luggage on the floor as there are no luggage racks. That's a bitt of a challenge because the "floor" is really the walkway from the bed area to the bathroom so you'll be walking around your own luggage. If you are a business traveler and need desk space it's very limited or absent. I had one room with a very small desk and another where I had to use the nightstand as a desk. The rooms are relatively dark even if the windows are open because they open to a narrow light well/courtyard. Perhaps there is more light on higher floor levels.

Pros: Awesome hotel in the cut of the busy Times Square area of London. Easy to get to by train from the airport as you just take it to Picadilly Circus station and walk 5 mins. Near all of the action and nightclubs. Clean. Great free wine and cheese happy hour. Wonderful gem of a hotel.

Pros: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.

However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

As an apology because our hair and make up artist was standing in reception, we were only upgraded for 2 of the 4 rooms. During and after the wedding, we got stuck in the lift (which was already broken but not decommissioned) no apology from the evening staff and no acknowledgement of their errors, rather I am told "I am done talking to you". After our party having spent tens and thousands of pounds, this is the treatment we received. No compensation and no complimentary offers to any of us.

I paid for a room which I thought I was going to receive a decent room with a view. The outlets are no where near mirrors. So even if you packed an outlet converter, you wouldn't be able to see yourself do your hair. CFL lighting instead of LED, which take a long time to warm up and are not as bright. Instead of having One Strong WIFI Network, they had over a dozen WEAK Ones. You had to constantly re-connet to Wifi because the signal would go out. We spent majority of the time reconnecting between 3 different Citadines Wifis. The bathtub/shower is so high off the ground, you have to physically climb into it, and careful not to fall out. I almost fell out completely one, but thankfully my boyfriend caught me in time. Our in room fridge creaked and moaned all hours of the night, and soon became part of our nightly sleep, Given the Opportunity, I would NOT stay here again.

Pros: Food location staff , all works well , I would love to go back but when all the work is done so it'll be that bit more comfortable for me
Cons: The hotel lifts were very slow and 2 was not working at all , also there was work being done for the new reception area ! As I have sciatica very bad , It was very difficult using the stairs and temporary steps the hotel put in place !

Pros: Location and cleanliness are the only positives about my stay.
Cons: Poorly operating lifts. Bathroom so small. TV inoperable. WiFi requires £5 payment daily by purchasing a code from a vending machine. Long lines at check in. Long line at luggage check/collection. Never again!

Pros: we had a great visit. The staff was impeccably polite and helpful.
Cons: the elevator situation was pretty bad. I don't know if some of the lifts weren't functioning or what, but we ended up taking the stairs most of the time

Pros: Spent about a week in London and stayed at the St. Giles. No regrets. Close to the West End action and much cheaper than some in the area. This hotel is also frequented by bus tours - Ugh. The room was good though small (almost Japanese hotel room small). We did not partake of their restaurants and went to a much, much better buffet down the street for breakfast. Concierge staff was very helpful

Pros: We went on a weekend away because he had tickets to see Harry Potter and the cursed child, which the hotel was a short five minute walk away which was great for me and my friend to get there as it was over 2 nights.
Cons: However we were never informed that there was to be building works happening throughout February. This resulted in there being no room for a reception desk and little to do in the hotel as everything was cordened off. As for the rooms, they were small and dated, they also didn't have much of a blind for the windows. As there has been a neon lit build finished across the street from the hotel, the room was lit up all night. To add to this there was a false fire alarm at 4am in the morning which no one came to inform us about but we could barely hear it from our room. The shower cubicle was really small with a really powerful shower that wasn't pleasant and to top everything we had a cockroach crawl into our room just before our departure that resided under our bed. All in all multiple things went wrong with our stay and I wouldn't recommend.

Pros: Not much other than it was clean and close to the Eurostar. Essentially you paid for the location.
Cons: No toiletries or fridge. Tiny double bed in awkwardly shaped room. In Europe it would have been marked up as a no frills business hotel and would have cost far less.

Pros: 24 h Reception Breakfast included in general very silent room amazing location, close to Holborn as well as Tottenham Hale Station (15 min walk)
Cons: beds are especially for tall people too small (app. 1.90) at 11 pm suddenly some works caused quite some noise for several minutes (i.e. if you want to sleep early may be impossible)
