Car class ordered was not ready when we arrived at rental site. Another car was available but didn't have A/C, a big issue in hot Jordan. Another car promised in 30 minutes and after 45 minutes it was determined it had a problem. Ended up with a car that was fine but we lost over 1.5 hours.Reviewed 2022 May 12

The staff at Sixt were extremely friendly and helpful. The car itself was clean and well-maintained. However the online interface was frustrating and was not working to do things like change my reservation when it claimed to have that capacity. I would be hesitant to book with Sixt again until that interface improves.Reviewed 2022 Apr 04

They cancelle my reservation the day of pickup and lied about it.Cons:I arrived in Jordan and went to the sixt rental booth to pick up my car. Approaching the desk I immediately noticed a large commotion from a group of about 10 people. Upon entering the group, it became evident that they had overbooked their inventory and were beginning to make people wait upwards of 6 hours for a car. When it was finally my turn in line, I politely told the sales manager my booking reference number for the car. He spends about 20 seconds looking it up on the computer before turning towards me telling me ‘my booking had been cancelled’. After my expected reaction of how?, what?, when?, why?, the sales manager broke eye contact with me and looking at his feet in shame muttered that ‘their office no longer accepts booking from agencies.’ Ok guy, you don’t accept bookings from agencies? You don’t honor kayak bookings? Really? So you cancelled my 2 week prior reservation without any sort of communication and there isn’t anything you can do for me because you over booked your fleet and there are not enough cars to meet resercarions. Dear sixt, Next time you lie to my face. Please look me in the eyes.Reviewed 2018 Apr 06

Not a great experiencePros:Were able to supply a child car seat last minute. Airport location was convenientCons:Pickup of the car took an extended amount of time. Reserved a Kia Optima, got a Renault. There was a nice looking Kia Optima 2 cars down from the Renault they gave us. The car was in poor condition, scratches all over, a hole in the rear bumper, faint smoke smell inside. When we booked the Kia it specifically stated the Kia is technologically advanced. The Renault was not. Couldn't connect my phone to the sound system, no USB charger that you would expect in a car that was stated as technologically advanced.
