Pros: Yes, pick up and drop off was easy. And they gave me a nicer car than I had reserved.
Pros: Nothing at all, couldn’t even pick up my rental at the time you guys said was available because the location was closed at 2PM. I need my money back ASAP , I never got my rental.
Cons: Everything.
Apparently you do your own walk around?
Pros: We did get a complimentary upgrade.
Cons: Never was told we need to do our own walk around of the car when I returned the car they found supposed to scratches when the car was parked the entire time. That's what I told them about the walk around never being done and that's when the told we we do our own walk around they never said that as I was renting the car. Only after I returned it did the mention it.
Cons: The car I was given was nice, it was raining that weekend and the windshield wiper barley worked, customer service is not that great, they were not rude, and not nice either, staff was not knowledgeable about insurance coverage, I read the policy and seemed to know more that they did
Good price, good car, not great service, received
Pros: This was the best price I could find for 10 days rental after searching on and off for a few months ahead of the trip. We had an Audi with less than 25,000 miles on it. It had a pretty big patch of paint missing from the rear trunk and bumper. Otherwise the car was pretty clean. Some nice features, although we couldn't pair our phones with the stereo and found the controls difficult to use. Got good gas mileage and handled fine.
Cons: Brakes were extremely touchy - like throw you through the wind-shield with a light tap touchy. The pick up took almost an hour. 45 minutes of which included waiting to be waited on and as far as we could, the people ahead of us were just waiting for some resolution to their issue - there was no interaction between the two staff members at the desks using their computers. Our car wasn't ready so we were given a free upgrade. The drop off was confusing. There were cars parked to the edge of the driveway entrance so I parked on the driveway apron, went in to ask where to park and was told right where it was. Other people arrived after me and parked in the road. I waited to be waited on for quite a while, just to get the answer to leave the keys in the car parked where it was. The biggest issue was the multple daily phone calls both me and my significant other received from some car warranty business telling me my 25,000 mile warranty was about to expire and to press 1 to extend the protection. I was seriously offended that my phone number had been either sold to a telemarketer, or somehow associated with the vehicle, as if I was the owner. The phone calls continued for about a week after our rental was over. So, it could have been a better experience.
always a sort of a fight, but...
Cons: I booked a convertible for a week end 6 weeks in advance, for a special occasion. Because I had recently a poor experience with another rental agency, I triple checked on the website and my reservation was fully confirmed. However, when I arrived, they told me that there was no convertible and that I could get an upgrade to another type of car, which was of no interest to me. They then said that I could get a convertible at the airport, which would have meant half of the first day gone. I had seen a convertible in their parking lot but they said it was booked for somebody else (why not me??). They finally gave it to me( likely because many people were waiting behind me...). It was OK since it was even a better car than scheduled (although dirty windshield), but it was not very cool having to fight for it.
Great people but uncomfortable Mercedes
Pros: The people we dealt with were absolutely awesome.
Cons: The car needed to be washed and was very uncomfortable for a Mercedes. One of the SUVs. Wouldn't recommend this car but the the rental people would definitely recommend.
Never NEVER rent from Sixt
Pros: I thought cheaper was better. I was wrong.
Cons: Unprofessional. Waited for ninety minutes for a vehicle. Then they didn't have any compact cars for pick up. For any of us waiting. Then they tried to convince me to take a mini van. Then it was somehow my fault when I didn't want to and demanded them to find me a jeep. The jeep they found had a flat tire. What is their inventory? Finally after causing a scene they magically found a compact jeep hidden in a nearby lot somewhere. The total experience was over two hours. Mostly because one woman was occupied with another customer for ninety minutes. NINETY MINUTES?! These people are poorly trained and unskilled. W
They had no car which I had reserved
Cons: They had no right size of car for me. Cost were higher than in reservation and rental personel didn't helped me at all when we returned car (smaller and more expensive one). We negotiated 10% discount because we got cheaper car but they still charced original price. I am very disapointed. Although, car worked well.
Hassle free
Pros: The car was in great shape, ran well, and was ready as promised. Doing the paperwork ahead of time was a good time saver so I did not need to do it at the counter with the kids. Also they tried to sell upgradesign but we're not pushy or rude.
Cons: The signage was not very helpful. The signs were small and hard to spot which difficult when you are in a city you do not know. Also we were supposed to drop off down the street and around the corner from where the address was. It was a no parking zone where the address and without a sign it makes it difficult to know the process. If sign are not allowed perhaps an email a day or 2 before drop off would be helpful.
Cons: Arrived at 12pm for my reservation on time. I was told the vehicle needed vacuumed still and walked across the street to get a cup of coffee since the in store one was broke, and I returned approximately 10 min later.
I was the informed that they forgot to gas up my vehicle, and to wait for it. I explained it was Mother's Day and I was traveling out of state. I walked outside a few minutes later to an attendant out back who asked which car I was waiting on, I told him to which one and the girl who had been sent to fill up the vehicle was on her phone and just said "oops I need to gas that up". They apologized for the delay and I reluctantly was left waiting again.
The girl came back approximately 20 min later explaining she did not gas up the vehicle because she did not know how to open the gas cover. She finally was off again to gas up the vehicle, and another agent told me I could speak to a manager about some money back.
I went inside to which my agent/manager who assigned me my vehicle referenced social media to make a complaint and "hopefully they'll give you a refund".
I was over an hour late, and upon her arrival back the girl also let me know she forgot to vacuum it as well. Fortunately it wasn't too dirty, but it's the principle of spending $400+ for a clean vehicle on a scheduled pickup that wasn't met and all they were willing to do in store was to change my drop off time to an hour later.
I don't find this appropriate or how I believe you wish for your business to be represented.
Inexpensive Mercedes!
Pros: Great car for the money and very cool facade to their operations. Customer service was top notch.
Cons: Long line to get an agent and the shuttle bus seemed non existent. I took the enterprise shuttle and walked a block to Sixt. Thanks Enterprise! :D
