Pros:Thrifty car location was not on Hollywood Ave. So I went to the airport and the Thrify booth was closed with a sign saying go to the Hertz Booth where the man was very rude and told me he did not do third party rentals. So he wanted to rent me a Hertz car completely ignoring the reservation I had and the charges that were paid the day before online and he would not listen to me. He was RACIST and Rude at the Hertz Booth and tried to duplicate charge my card for another rental. He refuse to correct the problem which I was not able to rent a car. My card will be refunded as i recurved a letter saying it would.Cons:First of all you did not tell me that Thrify was closed down on Hollywood Avenue Sevondly you did not tell me that the Thrify Booth was closed and that people would be sent to Hertz where this same older Racist rude white man would say I don’t do third party rentals this is my second experience with him.Reviewed 2020 Oct 25

Thrifty good, local office okPros:The car was clean and the rental process was quick once I got a hold of the employee.Cons:I had problems contacting the local thrifty office in the 2 times I tried to call them. The first time was to get my car while waiting for my luggage. The second time was to extend my rental. Iended up calling the national number to extend my rental w no problems.Reviewed 2017 Nov 05

AwefulPros:The price was ok and the ease of online renting it through Kayak.Cons:Everything! The car smelled aweful! I literally had to ride with the window down it was that bad. Then when I brought it back there was no one at the counter at the airport to return the car. After waiting for almost 20 mins - I finally asked the person at the Enterprise counter if anyone was working at the Thifty counter so I can return the car. I was told that Hertz now owns Thrifty so I can bring it to them. I was rather annoyed .. why didn't they (Thrifty) have a sign saying as much? So unprofessional.Reviewed 2017 Apr 09

Pros:It was very easy to pick the car up and drop it off it the airport.Cons:The price on my receipt from thenni picked the car up to dropping it off almost doubled. We were asked about adding an extra driver, and as I thought this was included in our first "final" price, i did. It was not explained to me that the charge was added after I had already signed. Total scam, I will never use Thrifty again.Reviewed 2016 Nov 14

Pros:The car was nice and cleanCons:I was charged almost twice the quoted price. When I've tried to call to dispute this overcharge, the hours are terrible and I can't call after work. Very upset.Reviewed 2016 Sep 13
