Everything is an additional fee. No one said anything when I checking in and got my boarding pass about my small carry on suitcase. Charged me $100 at the gate for that little bag that I still had to take with me. Delays for both flights for no reason and then when I asked everyone said something different. Never flying spirit again. If it was just one thing maybe. This was a show from the minute I got to the airport.
I have to wait for the flight for 3 hours. The gate was switching for 5 times. Made feel frustrated. Delays took all my sleep. I went to work without any sleep.
They changed our boarding gates at the last minute! No one at gate told us! It was finally announced over loud speaker but the person spoke very broken English and couldn’t understand!! Just went to information board to confirm. Had a “ medical emergency “ they called it and we couldn’t use bathrooms ( I understand) The flight attendant allowed the teenager sitting in my row to move to be with friend? Would have loved the same from my husband at back of plane! Why did attendant ask me twice to push my bag under the seat and NEVER once said anything to man in aisle across from me?? His was laying in floor!! Rate food? What food? Just drinks were offered for a price. Should be against the law to charge $5 for water. No… not the best flight.
Spirit Airlines at Laguardia is a small terminal so it is quick to get to your gate and to get your luggage. The flight is short enough to orlando and the price was very inexpensive. The seats do not move so you can't recline. Drinks and snakcks should be complimentary.
Customer service online / on the phone are horrible. Flight crew is great but gate agents and customer service are terrible
It was cancelled a few hours before take off. Spirit has yet to confirm I will be refunded for the trip
There was absolutely nothing good about this fight. They delayed us for over 2 hours to give our plane to a flight going to Tampa. By the time we got to norfolk conditions were too bad to land so they took us to Charlotte to refuel so they could fly back to Fort lauderdale. There was almost no communication from the pilot, no wifi, no chargers, and they wouldn't even give us free water when we were stuck in Charlotte refueling.
This flight cancelled. I am in the airport right now and my kids sleep on the floor. We are waiting for information in the line 4 hours and rude woman from spirit airline offers us flight to Austin on 23 February. No water no food offer. The offer to book hotel and they will refund 150$. The nearest hotel 450$ per night. So I got flight to San Antonio 02/22 at 7am. I hate this company, they are rude and no empathy. So many people with kids were there. And I don’t sleep and it is cold here. I don’t have warm clothes for me and my kids. And I don’t have money for transport from San Antonio to my Austin.
It was the most turbulent terrifying flight I’ve ever been on. I will never fly spirit again.
The flight was delayed for unknown reasons while other airlines weren’t. It was very frustrating.
