Pros: "Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport"

Pros: "I can't even count the number of times I have flown KLM in the last 4 years. They are my airline of choice when I fly back and forth from the U.S. thru Amsterdam to Nairobi. This last flight I boarded and then 90 very exuberant girls from London board in all the rows in front of me. I was concerned it was going to be a less than restful flight. Just the opposite. As always the KLM crew took extra ordinary care of all of use. The service was wonderful and I scooted off the flight ahead of the girls to make my very short connection. The crew is what always make the experience delightful! Thank you again KLM."

No one had notified us of our new booking on a 9:10 flight to Boston. No one at American or British Airways could provide us with an earlier departure or compensate us to take alternative transportation. Our 9:10 flight was then delayed until 10:50 pm. We arrived in Boston at 12:02 am, 11 1/2 hours after our arrival at JFK from Rome. This was not a very friendly welcome home. We never would have booked such an extended delay as we only live 4 hours from New York City."

She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process"

The person in front of me pushed their seat back all the way, I asked the crew member to do something but nothing really was done, since I am a little taller I could not fit my knees, they were crushed."

Pros: "Comfortable seats, no extra charge for blanket and pillow, gluten-free meal was quite good, provided water throughout the long flight, in-flight entertainment offered fairly recent movies, cabin crew were respectful."

Cons: "Paid $130 for 2 extra spac s acts. Didn't have any extra space. Had a woman in front of me who reclined her seat all the way for he whole flight. Had to have on of he crew to ask her to put her sat forward for the food service part of th flight."

Pros: "All included extra inches of leg room and personal entertainment system at no additional cost. Food was excellent on our way to Europe, not so good on the way back but still decent. The crew was professional and courteous and the boarding process (two kids included) was very smooth. This has been our BEST experience with an airline in 15 years of traveling annually to Europe. I will book with TAP for now on."

Cons: "The crew was rude, after 5 hours they seemed annoyed when I asked for water and gave me half a cup after I had just finished vomitting due to all the swaying of the aircraft. While we were landing, we came over the runway maybe 100 feet off the ground then jetted back up and circled around the airport for 20 minutes before landing horribly...with NO explaination. Everyone started vomitting because the landing (both times) were so horrible. Our first flight was late, we landed when the second was 'closing the doors', they never updated the monitors or informed the crew that the second plane was also delayed (by over an hour), so we rushed through customs and ran through the airport only to discover they hadn't even started boarding yet, even though the screen said it had departed. Completely disorganized."

Cons: "They had no record of my order for a vegetarian meal. I was served some fish but it was terrible. I couldn't determine what the grainy side dish was."

Cons: "They lost my luggage. What else is there to tell????"

Pros: "Much cleaner/larger and better flight out of Milan to Boston. Weird boarding procedure. Took over 1/14 hours to board the plane. Slow!!! they do ask you to be there an hour prior to boarding beginning. The entertainment was fabulous and the food was much better. Had a hot meal and later a snack."

Cons: "TAP rebooked on SATA flight to Boston. There was no inflight entertainment for a 7 hr flight! not even one small TV where you could watch. The food was chicken but it came with pork which i cannot eat. Upon arrival to Boston they lost my luggage and did not seemed concerned when i reported it. There were several outfits for family members for a religious holiday in a few days. They promised a call back regarding my luggage but they never called. The number i was given didnt work. I had to call several numbers before i was able to find someone to discuss my luggage with. The lady on the phone told me it was probably because I switched from TAP to SATA. However I didnt choose this change, TAP rebooked me. They could not assure me they would find or call me back. i ended up getting it back 6 days later. without an appology or any kind of compensation."

Pros: "The flight crew was very friendly and polite. We were frequently offered something to drink, and the food was good. I enjoyed having earbuds in my seat so I could listen to music or watch TV. There was a good selection of movies and shows to choose from."
Cons: "Slight turbulence, but I doubt that could be helped."

Pros: "Comfortable, nice flight. Lots of room for legs.Confortable leather seats. Nice food and drink options.Great flight attendants. Early arrival in Boston. Smooth and pleasant return flight to the US overall just like the flight going to Europe."
Cons: "Confusing non-European passport check with machines that did not work. Police officers did not help at all. They just waited for us to manage to go through automatic passport checking via machines and stamped our passports. Frustrating for the elderly people in line with us. Long, delayed boarding. Long wait to get luggage at arrival : more than one hour! Long wait at customs although we had landed early and there was no other flight than ours at first, but we waited so long for our luggage that there was an enormously long line because a couple of more flights had also landed. Overall an exhausting experience because of the wait at arrival. And we had a 2-hour drive afterwards... BUT this has has nothing to do with the flight which was great!"

Cons: "Two and a half hour delay on an 1:20 flight. I fly with Air Canada often, and delays are constant, especially on the evening flights. WestJet, which services the same route, doesdoesn't have this problem."

Cons: "There was a major winter storm on the way, and the flight should have been canceled like every other flight to Boston was. Long story short, we couldn't land in Boston due to the storm. So we flew not to Boston, but to Quebec City. They would not let us off the airplane. Eventually we flew back to Montreal where we started. More than 7 hours on a plane with no food, and they only offered us water. The flight should have been cancelled in the first place. That would have been a lot less stressful to deal with."

They did switch our boarding passes to a later flight, but only 1 of 3 pieces of luggage arrived in chicago (as did also to 4 other families on our flight) it took 2 more days until we received them."

Pros: "This was my first time in Canada never been there before I had a great time until that one moment I had to deal with workers from air Canada except one agent at the ticketing desk....I had checked in online the day before however I had some card issues because they got shut down by my bank and due to the holiday in America I was unable to call my Bank prior to the airport....got to the airport and tried to explain that all I wanted to do was pay for my bag with cash ...but no one took the time out to listen each time i tried explaining myself I was send to a different location to join another line ....by the time I got to someone who was willing to listen my flight was closed ..her name was Aurora and gave me nothing but attitude when I explained my story......anyways finally got to ticketing and a met the only agent that day who exercise some level of customer service that day...if only I could remember her name ...sigh she went the extra mile because at this point I was frustrated and unsure if I would make it out of the country a sane person due to the amount of chaos I experienced prior. She got LISTENED .....SHE TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN...got me on a new flight and went above an beyond to assist me that morning I was on the verge of a breakdown at that point all other staff member was very disgusting not only to my self but the other individuals who had mishaps that morning."

Pros: "New aircraft 787. Direct flight from Israel to Canada, no layover in Europe. That was nice. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The worst part was the airport in Toronto. Very confusing to get around in. And having to fill out custom papers for Canada when I wasn't staying in Canada or leaving the airport. Didn't like that. But the service of Air Canada makes up for the airport, I would use their service again."

Cons: "Our Swiss crew told us over the loudspeaker several times that "even if connecting we still need to get our luggage" which turned out to be false as our luggage was transferred to the Boston bound plane automatically... We were ushered out as a group to a connection security check which required electronic kiosks to be used for scanning our passports photos and fingerprints... They fraught with malfunctions then after waiting in line for s while we did the whole check all over again with s human security agent in s booth... There were only 2 security agents in the booths as well but there really needed to be several more to keep the line moving quicker... After security we walk directly out to departures but no mention of baggage claim, which was fine had we not been misinformed by Swiss initially... We ended up inquiring several times with SirCsnsda staff until it was clear Swiss had misinformed us."

No one at the current gate knew anything about it and I went to ask but no one could be found. I asked a man sitting behind the gate, who happened to be the pilot, and he also knew nothing about it. Needless to say, the gate changed and absolutely nobody was told about it. 2 hours later, our flight finally took off, and I was thanked by the pilot for getting us to the right gate... At least he provided a little humor to the situation! Plane also wasn't cleaned, pretzels and trash all over the floor."

Pros: "The crew appeared overworked and understaffed. I feel that there should have been at least 2 to 4 more to help with the large number of passengers on the plane. It appeared to be more than full and perhaps extra seating was added."
Cons: "The plane was overcrowded. Seating was extremely uncomfortable and much too narrow. I am a relatively thin person but the person to my right was large and kept on pushing into me during the entire flight. Plus it took us over an hour and 30 minutes before we left the airport because we had to wait until the entire plane off boarded before a wheelchair could be brought for my wife. After the wheelchair was brought and we picked up our luggage, (2 bags), which by the way were the last 2 on the carousel, there was only one line through customs for people with special needs. By the time we left the airport I spent at least 45 minutes trying to find the cab which had been sent from Rochester, NY to pick us up and when I finally found him he wasn't allowed to stop in the taxi lane to pick us up in the taxi lane because he wasn't an authorized cab in spite of the fact that I told the security person that my wife was in a wheelchair and the weather was close to 0 degrees celsus and it was snowing."

I know it's not Air Canada problem, but still this is a big inconvenience. Another problem I encountered is - lost luggage. For 4 days my luggage was missing and there was nobody I could talk to: no phone number or email given online to address such problems."
