Broken seats, tables, entertainment system, bathrooms, etc. Terribly maintained planes. Poor service. No ice, only soft drink was Coke. Bad food. Don't know if the Crew is bad or what all they are working with is poor quality.
The worst experience in my life
I liked that they got me to my destination in one piece. The air staff were nice. Other than that it was a horrible experience. One segment was cancelled without notice. Next segment delayed by 13 hrs. No one picks up phone calls. Rude and incompetent ground agents. They don't care about stranded passengers. Old dirty aircraft. Non working seats and displays. Never flying Air India
Crew service was good. But old flight, broken seats made 17 hours journey uncomfortable.
Pros: "Crew was excellent serving food and beverages when needed. Answering and helping with toiletry needs too"
Cons: "The remote was not working to use the TV at seat number 43E. We asked the crew staff to check but he never came back. Another thing is Baggage. It has been almost 45 minutes now but our luggage is not on the belt as well as a lot of other passengers."

Cons: "2nd guy who help push my wheelchair was demanding for more when I gave him 200 rupee, other than that everything was okay. Crew shouldn’t be demanding for tips."
Cons: "They were skimpy on giving food. For 2 adults and two paid kids, they were trying to get away with 2 peanut pouches! Requested special kids meal, did not receive it. Crew could not help with frozen screen, so over 15 hours no entertainment"
Pros: "The direct flight from Washington Metro area"
Cons: "Absolutely old, ill-maintained plane, The tray table was slanted and food tray slipped all the time. I had to be careful that food didn't spill out. Uncomfortable seat with no leg room to speak of whatsoever. The seat didn't incline for sleep and drifted slowly within in a couple of minutes o the upright position. The travelers were horrible as well. Many passengers were just not behaving well. Left toilet papers all over the floor. Toilet room was poorly maintained. No napkin towels to wipe our hands! Flimsy napkin (if you can call that!) for dinner. Generally, the worst flight experience that my wife and I have had! And, we fly a lot around the world!"

Pros: "Boarding was surprisingly smooth and food, as anticipated was really good."
Cons: "Neither the touch screen display or the remote worked. Mentioned that to one of the flight attendant who told me that the system will be reset after the food service. That did not happen so after waiting for another 2 hours into the flight, I spoke to another attendant who did reset the entertainment system. It did not work. Brought it to her attention and the response I got was, "Sorry, the flight is full and there is no other seat available". I had to sit through 14 hour long journey looking at other passengers or hear babies cry non-stop !"

The seat assignment was with a severely obese person and they did not change when I asked, though the flight was pretty empty and people were using 3 seats to sleep and fly all the way back."

Cons: "I arrived 2 hrs before floght departure. They first issued me a boarding pass; then there computers got stuck for a while. The guy at the counter couldn't get me a luggage label; then announced the flight was overbooked, took back my boarding pass and then tore it up. Told me my seat had been assigned at another counte to a family. He sent me over to another counter where no one told me anything for gala an hour. Finally they told me I had no option but to take the next flight at 500am. They put me up in a trashy transit hotel, made me wait outside in the heat for another half hour for the transport to the hotel. Will never fly Air India again if I can help it. Everywhere you see a lot of air India officials but only on in ten appears to know his job. Very unprofessional, incompetent, customer unfriendly. What a pathetic airline. Btw the frigid provided is a meager vegetarian buffet at a restaurant which is a few blocks away from the transit hotel."

(2) Liquor was served 45 minutes before landing on a 15 hour flight from New Delhi to Chicago. (3) Aircraft "BIHAR" air condition was not working back of the plane on my flight from Chicago to New Delhi."
