Pros: "Liked the attitude of staff and comfort of 50% capacity."
Cons: "There were costumers taking off mask and walking through plane."
Pros: "The crew was amazing."
Cons: "The seat backs are very uncomfortable for my neck & upper back. Difficult to tolerate, and gave me headache on each flight."
Pros: "We needed a seat belt extender and one of the crew members noticed and was so kind in getting that. No embarrassment or drawing attention to the customer. His name? David"
Pros: "Friendly cabin staff and one of the most enjoyable addresses by a captain I've ever heard (and seen - he was out in the first class area when he welcomed us)."
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "We were in coach and the crew made us feel like it was business class!"
Pros: "Nothing. They lost the plane so we couldn’t even fly out"
Cons: "Finding the plane"
Pros: "On time departure and smooth landing"
Cons: "More leg room. Stop nickel and dining passengers to appease investors. Delta is an evil corporation"
Pros: "Charging at every seat is great."
Cons: "All of the plane extras (e.g. WiFi, food service, etc.) were out of commission for some reason. Without WiFi, I couldn’t watch anything on my own device, and I would’ve had to pay for a headset that is compatible with your screens."
Cons: "The only problem with the food was it was all canceled because of rough weather."
Cons: "I’m would be much better if I can sit by my husband."
Cons: "The entertainment system wasnt working on the first flight, and had poor content on the second flight."
Pros: "Yes but when you offer a blanket deliver a blanket :)"
Cons: "When you offer a blanket or to heat up the food follow through :)"
Pros: "Nothing. Flight attendant throws the tray of food all over me. Never apologize Worst flight ever I'm a Gold Frequent Flyer. No more!!! Good Bye British Airways Hello Cathay Pacific!"
Pros: "I liked that the center seat was empty."
Cons: "My seat back didn’t recline as much as the seat in front of me or the seats beside me."
Cons: "I was seated at the emergency row. The staff has a policy of collecting the pillows and blankets during take-off from these seats. But they never gave them back to us afterward. Later when I wanted to go to sleep, they could not located these items."
Pros: "For the most part the crew was attentive, kind, sweet, and overall wonderful. Food was good. Great options for vegetarians. Loved the ice cream as snack:). Clean sealed blankets. Loved the movie and tv options. For the most part very happy with service, cleanliness, pilot keeping us informed of delays or anything going on with the flight. Leg space on coach was difficult for tall people and my son's tray table tilted to where he had to put blankets underneath to keep it straight and avoid further spillage."
Cons: "Again the crew has to be informed regarding disabilities. This time an attendant did not allow me to leave my one window closed and said it was due to security and asked to wrap a blanket around my head. Really??? Light streaming into my window was blinding, no time to adjust to the surroundings, light just came through everywhere. Headache ensued even shielding my eyes with the blanket. At least my family helped guide me out. Though head injury is not a visible condition it is still a disability which requires consideration and must not be treated lightly. I perform due diligence to address my disability without extra assistance outside of my family....I only asked for my one window to remain closed. There is still light around enough for people to see more than adequately. This incident is the reason for the 3 stars...because of one crew member...instead of the deserved 5 for everyone else."
Cons: "The food service had problems. When they got to our row they didn't have any more of our dinners left and without asking I was given a meal from first class with an entree I did not care for. My wife seated next to me gave me half of her entree. Then the snack towards the end of the flight I was given a burrito type thing without asking what flavor I wanted. All in all the food was poor and the attention to the passenger was poor also."
Cons: "Don’t do it!! Totally disorganized airline with uncomfortable seats."
Pros: "My upgrade."
Cons: "That I needed to be searched again before boarding the plane. The long layover."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Paid for bulkhead seat and was not given a bulkhead seat."
The food was horrible It was too crowded An hour delay sitting on the plane before a 12 hour flight A morning flight, flying all day long in the dark as if we could sleep again after a night sleep
Staff was not attentive to the needs of the passangers. We have tried to call Air Canada for over a week with no answer.
In the airport of Toronto, the person in charge a man with beard was an stupid person, he send everything to caos. Not helpful at all. Sunday to from 6:00 am to 8:20 am he was there, a people who work in front desk cannot be stupid and with that Ego !!
Bumped us from flight without telling us! Booked us for the next day. Didn’t have a hotel, so I had to book a room at the Sheraton and hope I get my money back
Although the flight was delayed, they did their best to make up time.
The check-in process was a disaster. 2 hours to check-in for PRIORITY boarding. We have never in over 40 years of travel experienced such a poor and lengthy check-in. Luckily, security and customs was nearly empty so we could breeze through it, and they intentionally delayed the plane half an hour to allow passengers to make it. The rest of the flight was as expected (in business class). But our luggage never made it to San Diego. We tried to locate and Air Canada rep at baggage claim but we were told that no one from AC showed up that day. I had to make a claim for our luggage by calling in to baggage services with AC and I was told that only because I had 75k travel status with AC would I get my luggage this week. Let’s see! I know many people that were waiting in line with me at Pierson missed their flights. Total disaster at Pierson this week.
Pros: "the over seas flight was fine... once we got on board"
Cons: "The desk does not open until two hours before your flight. Our flight was canceled, 10 minuets before boarding .... with no recourse we were booked on the next day. It took the airline 3 hours after the cancelation to get out luggage back. When we finally got out, the next day, our flight was delayed and we almost missed our connection. Every one who was trying to make the same connection said that every time they fly Air Canada they are always running. We needed up being the last ones on the plane.... they gave away our seats so we were separated for 12 hours. And shoved into corners!!! Our bags made it two days late."
Pros: "I would choose this route again--I liked the timing of the flight and transferring in Toronto."
Cons: "The kosher food was abysmal which may not have been Air Canada's fault. When a seating problem arose with an ultra orthodox man who refused to be seated next to me (a woman) the flight attendant told me, "I don't deal with that." Finally another flight attendant found the man a seat between two men."
Pros: "I like that we made it safely."
Cons: "The crew seemed to not like their job and were very short with customers."
Pros: "Crew was excellent"
Cons: "Entertainment system did not work for the first two hours"
Cons: "Old Aircraft, no power outlets, small TV displays, picture distorted, low quality LCD, mediocre Entertainment menu"
Pros: "That I was lucky enough to have an entire row to myself"
Cons: "Late departure, unfriendly crew"
Pros: "the entertainment program was good, and the plane in good shape"
Cons: "food was terrible"
Cons: "My 10:00 p.m. flight was canceled so I had to spend the night trying to sleep in the airport. Have you ever had to do that? Not fun."
Pros: "The staff were fine, nothing really great, but nothing bad either."
Cons: "So, we'll start with boarding. Why airlines can't figure out to board the plane from back to front is beyond me. No, let's load front to back so everyone has to uncomfortably shove past the people who have already taken their seats at the front of the plane. Then you get back there and all the overhead bins are full because everyone takes as many bags as possible onto the plane. Then you have to sacrifice the already tiny amount of foot room, "to put the bag fully underneath the seat in front of you." At this point you should be fine, except if you're over five and a half feet tall (I don't know if that's true I'm 6'2" and 275 lbs,) because then your knees are going to be buried so deep in the chair in front of you that the person up there doesn't even need a seat they can just sit on your knees. Luckily for you tall people, they put a nice metal rod just about knee level to really dig in and cause pain . . . Yay! Being a big guy, you try to be considerate and fold your arms in to give the person next to you as much space as possible, but don't expect that back as they'll spread out and become as wide as possible. Then to distract yourself from the discomfort, you try to use the free in flight entertainment via the United app, but "it's not available right now." In summation either be short and small or be rich and buy the seats with extra legroom when you fly United."
Cons: "I am pregnant and took a 12-hour flight. The flight crew did not provide me with food for 11 hours of that flight. When I asked the flight attendants for food they told me they had none, and it was my fault I didn't bring anything to eat. then I saw them handing out food to business class. I understand that I did not shell out the class to fly business class, but it's not okay to not feed a pregnant woman. Additionally, when I was flying form you were not allowed t bring water onto the plane. The flight attendants only provided me one small water bottle an two small cups of water. I asked for more but they said no :( I will never fly United again"
Pros: "The plane was newer at least. And I made a big enough stink when they made me check my bubble-wrapped framed paintings that they actually did get hand carried and made it okay."
Cons: "These are the smallest seats I have ever experienced on a domestic airline. I'm 6'-4" and I couldn't fit comfortably on their newer 737. The thing that took the cake was that the cabin crew absolutely refused to let me take one of the 5 empty exit row seats telling me that it wasn't fair to the people who paid more, which absolutely enraged me. So then apparently it's also fair that their seats will fit someone who is 5'-4" comfortably but not someone who is 6'-4"?? So it's fair that I can't afford to pay an extra $100+ for it after my profession got gutted in the recession and I make a fraction now of that I used to make? Making your customers suffer for no good reason is inexcusable. I will not be flying United again. Ever."
Pros: "The crew that bothered to show up were fine, not overly friendly as they SHOULD have been due to the extreme delay."
Cons: "I checked in online and printed my ticket a few hours before my flight, so I was dropped off at the terminal where my gate was supposed to be. THEN after I get through security, I find out my gate has been changed to another terminal- one for international flights. I had to walk for 30 minutes with my heavy carry-on to find the correct gate. Then the flight was so incredibly delayed because a flight attendant decided to just not show up for work. So unprofessional! If the flight had been delayed because of uncontrollable conditions, then that would be another story, but come on! A flight attendant not showing up for work? That's pathetic."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "First of all the flight was delayed for hours for no reason then the plane got packed because it was delayed so they kept on selling tickets to fill up the plane because the plane was half empty all of a sudden the plane was full of people no more chairs I tried to get the exit row from where you do a check in to get your pass to go through security my credit card was not being excepted nothing wrong with my credit card it worked totally fine in the airport restaurants and for other uses I had to use for but it would not work to upgrade my seat to an exit row united is the worst airline ever seen in my life I am a little bit big for normal size I totally understand that but when you have people that are big like me not that big I'm only 61 230 pounds I was put all the way in the back would not be able to fit in my chair for a four hour flight and when the plane had three exit rows available and the crew for their flight 395 United from Chicago to O'Hare October 18 I will never forget this day totally beautiful day in the city Chicago United Airline decided to delay to make more money I understand it's good business but there are people arranged for the flight do you have available of time therefore now the plane is totally full understand you're trying to make more money this is not the worst of it here comes so when I asked to get the extra chair because my credit card was not working when I got my pass to go through security at that point the exit chair was $67 to upgrade I was totally afford was willing to pay because I understand my size but then when I got to my flight into my airplane that's the airplane Stewart to allow me to get a extra chair and I told her I would pay for it then the lady came and told me a ridiculous price told me $149 not acceptable was not able to afford double the price when I already purchased a ticket and was willing to pay the $67 that's one issue on how the plane flight started when we are sitting on the runway for over one hour and not moving something is wrong with the plane they're saying then we should not be waiting over four hours of delayed then we should've been put in on a new plane fine you're looking to make more money this is good business whoever was the decision-maker of tonight needs to be fired from United or O'Hare airport when all of this is going on don't forget now I am the last seat on the airplane but cannot fit in my seat my knees are smashed against the seat the seat that's not decline it is the last row in the airplane now i'm totally not comfortable that's fine so now the store is giving drinks and taking orders for people to eat or order their food when the story gets towards the back she says we are totally out of food packs we only have snacks which is peanuts after a delay of an airplane I think you should understand it's obviously the people are hungry in the airplane for your mistake there are kids that were on the airplane crying there was a lot of chaos in this flight"
Pros: "Didn't fly to San Diego-got rerouted to LAX instead. Had I continued to San Diego I would have landed almost 6 hours later than my previous arrival time all because of delays at the gate in Harriaburg. An original 30 minute delay from weather is understandable, and by the time the aircraft arrives you'd think they'd be ready to deplane and get it rolling quickly. Nope, not all. I think it was amateur day in Harriaburg because it was like no one knew what to do and nobody could make their minds up."
Cons: "See above. This is why I drive everywhere."
Pros: "The crew was nice and it wasn't a full flight so we had room."
Cons: "The food wasn't very good and the headphones were a bit uncomfortable"
Cons: "For international flights every passenger should be allowed to bring one suitcase for free, I am traveling with my children for family of 6 they charge $70 dollars per person and the grand total charges for suitcases came to $350 dollars. Too much and unfair"
Pros: "The crew was courteous and pleasant. Boarding was quick. Airplane was clean. Blankets were warm. Food was good."
Cons: "Aircraft old so entertainment was not on the individual seat. Seats were hard and didn’t recline too much. Leg room was decent. Check in was horrible. 45 minute line."
Pros: "The crew was ok"
Cons: "The flight was delayed for almost 3 hours while we were already sitting in the airplane"
Cons: "The flight was delayed, crew was not helpful in my cabin, entertainment system was outdated and totally broken at my seat."
Pros: "Flight was amazing but my connection in Barcelona to Tel Aviv was a bit stressful. I couldn't check in via app or phone, When I arrived at security in Barcelona, security would not allow me to pass without a boarding pass. So I had to leave the gate area and go to El Al ticket counter."
Cons: "I almost missed my flight because of this. I called Expedia staff and they weren't much help. Next time I will be better prepared when booking flights to Tel Aviv."
Pros: "Everything went went really well. The only problems was a delay of several hours which they posted so I knew in advance."
Pros: "Clean airport and airline. I was on the new Dreamliner. Book business you don’t want to be in the back."
Cons: "For obvious reasons security is tight. However, they do not warn you sufficiently about the screening and security process. It took 2 hours alone to get through security and it was a light crowd. I can only imagine if it was packed or during major EU or Israeli holiday. They try to move people fast but security folks are all very young so they require a lot of supervision and need oversight so they stop and go for questions with trained team members."
Pros: "Good service"
Cons: "No individual entertainment unless youve already downloaded the program to your computer. Non-supportive headrest made it hard to sleep"
Pros: "I did like the breakfast provided, eggs were good. Dinner was fine too, I liked that hummus was provided.. seats were comfortable. There were sufficient bathrooms."
Cons: "Even though the seats were comfortable, the legroom was not."
