Poor service ! Water need to be free and a little snack for 3.5 hour during the flight. Tarom company need to take lessons from Turkish Airlines.
There was extreme turbulence for 10-15 minutes a bit after takeoff, which of course is no one's fault. This was a short regional flight with no amenities except water. Departure and arrival wete close ro on-time. The Suceava airport is very small but pleasant and efficient. My baggage all the way from Washington DC, checked through Paris and Bucharest, arrived without a hitch. There was really nothing to complain about except a regrettable 5+-hour layover in Bucharest.
This experience was atypical. The flight left three hours late because of engine technical issues, which meant a very long wait. Unrealistic announcements made it worse by discoursgong leavimg for water, reatrrom, etc. But the crew did its best and apart from the delay, it was not a bad flight. Good entertainment and drink service.In the end, I made my connection anyway.
Great flight. Left on time, not very crowded. Quiet and the right temperature.
Only two check in counters for online bag drop, economy and premium economy clients, NO management supervision whatsoever, no announcements, whilst Business and first class had three check in counters operational, with the bulk of clients flying economy on a 747…..very poor service indeed. Stood in a queue for two hours to check in!!!!!! The flight crew were equally indifferent.
I always like to travel with Discover Airlines because of their extraordinary services, comfort, and feel safe.

Ground staff in New Delhi was very bad. They kept insisting on extra payment for hand baggage and nearly made me miss my flight. Hostile people.
FA’s were awesome, aircraft was beautiful inside and out. Best first class experience I’ve ever had.
Since the flight wasn’t full, the crew let me sit in the row ahead of my original seat, which had extra leg room. Made all the difference! The crew was also very friendly and helpful.
Delay delay delay, they don’t even bother to alert their star alliance partners to wait for 15 minutes
The in-seat TV systems have good selection but the interface is slow, like a computer that is 10 years old and barely responds to commands. When you tap on buttons there is often a lag or the screen doesn't respond at all. I'd recommend having a basic meal option on all flights. The flight offered a chicken or pasta dish, but the chicken was some strange barbecue sauce with a puree and fancy cole slaw that didn't go together. Why not a basic chicken with rice dish? I wanted the pasta but instead of a basic tomato sauce it was an alfredo. I understand the idea of trying to make an airline meal fancier but it's going to be subpar no matter what you do, so why not strike the middle and stick with basics that most people will enjoy? Pasta with tomato sauce and a couple meatballs, with a biscuit, and a chocolate chip cookie or chocolate brownie for dessert--cheap and easy.
No real business class on this plane, I had to ask for the food 1.5hrs after take off, super warm beer, very very poor service
