Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

That was 5 years ago, and there's been a lot of changes. There I'd now in-flight entertainment, reasonably comfortable seats, and everything was on time."

Also, we had to sit on the tarmac after landing for 30 min due to gate traffic. A few minor inconveniences, but overall tolerable."

Having to board outside in rain and hot weather is not fun.
First off, the crew was okay on my flight, the problem was my first flight was delayed by 2 hrs from jfk to Miami and since my overall trip to Jamaica was on a connecting flight to Miami, I had to fly on standby when I was in Miami to board my 2nd flight because American Airlines delayed my original flight time from 6am to 8am and so I had missed my original schedule depart flight from Miami so they had to put me on stand by when I got to Miami which was very irritating. Then when I landed in Jamaica (my final destination) one of my luggage that I sent on, wasn’t left at Miami after I asked numerous of times if I was suppose to colllect my luggage after I landed in Miami and they told me no, it would be transferred over to my 2nd flight to Jamaica and when I landed in Jamaica, my luggage was left in Miami and didn’t make it to Jamaica with me when I landed. I was FRUSTRATED AND IRRITATED because that is American Airlines fault because I had asked before and I had no clothes. All my clothes were in my stand on suitcase. Very poor experience with American Airlines

Business class is the way to go if you can afford it. Plenty of room with these seats. The flight was delayed, but it wasn't the airlines issue and they were extremely nice about it. Great trip!
Narrow middle seat in Boeing 777 (10 abreast) instead of 9. Boarding one an a half hour late.

Cons: "Everything could have been better. The terminal out of Charlotte looked like a bus terminal, unacceptable for AA since it is one of their hubs. I understand it was a busy holiday weekend, but the airline should have been better prepared for our arrival. While the pilot did an excellent job in getting us in NY on time after airport delays on departure, AA must have not had enough staff working when we arrived. Customers waited over 30 minutes for bags to arrive, which arrived at a different belt than what had been originally scheduled. There were no AA staff in sight when we arrived in NY either. I will do my best not to fly AA again."

Cons: "no entertainment at every seat - was traveling with my little kids and this was the first time they could not play games or watch movies at the screen on the seat before them - there were couple screens for the whole plane but they showed La La Land two times and other shows my kids were not interested in; also, when we boarded, my kids were not assigned to sit right next to me (4 and 7 years old) so I had to ask 2 people to switch seats so that my kids could be next to me"

Cons: "I was in line for 25 min I was there 90 min before but took me 25 min to check in and the lady said I was late for only 3 min I was waiting on line I still had 87 min before my flight and the lady didn't check me in for only 3 min that was my 25 min in line"

Cons: "This had to have been among the worst flights I have ever experienced in 50+ years of flying to 86 countries. First, an e-mail before I left my Paris apt that it would be 1 hr late departing. THEN the announcement ON BOARD that the flight would make a REFUELING stop in Bangor Maine (the eqpt was a 20 yr old 757 meant for a medium-range domestic route instead of Paris-NY). So it was FOUR HOURS LATE arriving, including an extra hour on the ground in Bangor because they'd lost their landing slot (tho they lied about "bad weather" at JFK) ... a succession of lies and incompetence. Headphone jack didn't even work at the seat ... the movie was a US film dubbed into French anyway! Gawd what incompetence. A letter Fedexed to Doug Parker, AA's CEO, was not even acknowledged.... and I do 35,000 air miles a year on AA. THE WORST."

I had to hand carry bags and i had to put it in front of me which is a very small space already, on top of that i had the window sit so i had no space to move. it was very uncomfortable, and flight was delayed. We sat there for an hour before taking off but i understand its due to the weather but it was my worst plane ride not worth 300dollars. I will not ride american airline again."

So when you miss an American conection by under one minute they are keeping you on the ground while there on time performance "sores" . Then you enter the American over night accommodation Line and I don't have tell you how unpleasant that is but a 2 hour wait for a free shuttle to the hotel is one of them."
Pros: "Other than a 2 hour delay due to a mechanical issue (identified after everyone boarded) the flight was ok. No electical connections for equipment. That would be an improvement. Also, out of a lot of meals that people request, and that was at the beginning of service in the premium seats."

While I appreciate that business travelers should have priority boarding, the order of coach is from front to back. It would be beneficial to begin coach boarding from the back to the front to reduce the traffic on the aisles."

We did ask a pilot and he suggest s the air train which was a horrible idea. We had to re enter and go through security again.
