Tried to rent a large vehicle for a family vacation to great wolf lodge. Booked the reservation with my debit card, took a $30 Lyft to pick up the car to have the unbelievably rude employee tell me that I have to have a credit card to rent the vehicle and that my VISA debit card was not an acceptable method of payment. WHAT?! In what world does that make sense? I don’t have a credit card. At all. Would have been nice to know that debit cards are inadequate before wasting $60 and ruining my sons birthday trip.
