Pros:Pick up and drop off was quick and easyCons:Actual cost was FAR higher than quoted and it did not state that if using debit card and not credit card that you had to prepay for a full tank of gas.Reviewed 2019 Dec 07

Pros:Very easy process, staff was attentive and welcoming. Car was nice, no issues.Cons:My only complaint was that I feel I was upsold how 'Iceland is different from other countries so the insurance is more worthwhile here.' I came in November and other then some rain and higher winds, I really didn't think the weather was all that special. I didn't encounter any gravel roads going to the main sites along the southern coast and their certainly wasn't need for the wind and ash insurance. Now certainly these things happen, of course, and it's good to be aware, but I felt like the way everyone was talking about the weather I would be stupid not to take it, yet the changes were really not that different from my home country. So maybe I would amend the shtick on insurance to 'useful if you only drive in sunny weather' or something similar.Reviewed 2019 Nov 26

Pros:The staff was very friendly and got us into our car very fast. No issues with extra fees or aggressive upsells.Cons:The airport bus that was supposed to come every 10 minutes was very late when we dropped off our car, probably 25 minutes late.Reviewed 2019 Feb 02

New good cars and SUVsPros:The cars were new and clean. The RAV4 we got had only 4,000 KMs. Well optioned with a free GPS that really didn't find any locations. For $15 per day you can rent a wifi adapter we didn't get it as my cell had internationals calling and data. Check in was pretty quick.Cons:The check in to get your car was painfully long. After waiting a long time for the rental car shuttle to load up with folks ~ 20 minutes we were off to the rental car drop offs. Once we arrived there we waited around another 40 minutes to get our RAV4. The car GPS couldn't find sites to see by name. I plugged them into my Google Maps and it had no issue finished where we needed to go.Reviewed 2018 Jul 08

Good staff, small bootPros:Pick up and drop off was well done - staff professional.Cons:We didn't know that we had to take a bus to the pick up point and we wasted a lot of time finding this out. This should have been written on our voucher. The car was smaller than expected. There is NO WAY to fit 4 normal sizes suitcases in the boot as the description states. We had to stack 3 up in the back and put one in the back seat between passengers. This was uncomfortable and unsafe. There was no view out the back window. I think it should be made clear that it will take 2 suitcases and another couple small bags.Reviewed 2017 Sep 18
