We were "upgraded" to a massive Toyota Land Cruiser, which I should have declined, because it was a gas guzzler, old and clunky. I wish they just had just given us the compact SUV i booked.Reviewed 2026 Feb 24

The car was difficult to find in the parking lot. The car sounded like it had a broken transmission and was very loud. Fortunately we got where we needed to goReviewed 2024 Aug 20

The agent at the desk at Budget at the KEFLAVÍK airport was so rude that we decided to rent from another company. Very rude and unhelpful after our long flight. It was 8:30 in the morning and our reservation wasn’t until 10am and he was acting like we were stupid for even coming to the desk a bit early, even though we were just checking to see if we could get something earlier. I was very disappointed.Reviewed 2024 Jun 03
