My Experience was not a good experience with Budget this was my first and last time renting with them . I was given a 12 passenger van that should’ve never left the lot . The passenger rear tire was a mess , and I hadn’t realized until I was in route to my destination i stopped several times to put air in that tire , and on the last time of filling the tire it exploded and burst my nephew’s eardrum. Which was very unsafe and scary seeing blood come out of his ear. When I returned the vehicle at the end of my trip the man at the front desk of the 101 west fayette location was no help .Reviewed 2023 Aug 15

My experience was very poor. This was my first time renting with budget and my last . I had nonstop issues from the first day I f pick up . I was sent from the 101 west fayette location with a vehicle that should have never had a renter driving in it , the right rear tire was no good which I didn’t find out until my family and I were in route to our destination. I stopped several time to fill the tire with air , and the last filling of air turned into a disaster with the tire popping and bursting of my nephews eardrum . This rental experience was made special by an extraordinary person working in the Boston street Budget rental office. Her name is Mimmi her customer service is exceptional. I reserved a car. Paid for a Uber to get to the Budget location. Once I arrived, was told there actually isn’t a car available. Had to pay for another Uber home. Waste of my time and money. It’s okay that there isn’t a car but do have the courtesy to let customers know ahead of time.Reviewed 2023 Feb 21

I reserved a van over two months ahead of time. They called me at 8 PM the night before I was going to pick it up and told me there is no van. I had to go with a different company the next morning and pay twice as much. Making a reservation apperently does not reserve anything - be aware of this.Reviewed 2022 Oct 12

I booked this car through your website but you guys contacted it through Priceline. Priceline changed the location from the Airport location to a location 30 minutes away. I had to pay more to book a car last minute at the airport.Reviewed 2022 Feb 01

No one at the counter for 10minutes upon my arrival. The budget desk was located inside a hotsl which means vehicles are in a garage. He filled out the “damage” card at the front desk this not inspecting the vehicle. I gave the vehicle a look about, but as I stated, it’s a very dim garage with the car backed into the stall to where I can barely put my luggage in the trunk. I stopped at a gas station about an hour after having the car to find there was damage to the center of the rear bumper. I called budget and was told, “ it will be okay because the damage was previously reported so it will not reflect upon my 24hr’s with this vehicle. Upon dropping the vehicle at a separate location, there was absolutely NO ONE to accept the transfer on vehicle back into the custody of budget. Instead, there was a sign that read, “please leave the keys in the vehicle.” Myself and another woman customer was concerned as to if the vehicles would be safe. We decided to leave after approximately 15 minutes of no budget employees showing up to the drop off area.Reviewed 2022 Jan 13

The pick up was changed to Avis from Budget. The car assigned had an expired license plate. We had to go back to the desk to get a different vehicle. The return was also changed to Avis and we were never notified. It was dark in the early morning when we returned the vehicle and the sign at the Budget return indicating an Avis drop off was barely visible in the dark. Then the Avis agent Jesse said he was to busy to provide a receipt for the return. So I left the Avid return having zero proof I returned the vehicle! And, wound up paying over $110/ day for an economy rental car😢Reviewed 2021 Oct 18

The location was closed when I arrived. I was scheduled to pick up the car at 3:00pm and the place closed at 3:00pm. I was totally stranded in an unknown city! I called and explained what happened and they said they couldn’t help me. I had to call and book another car on my own! Worst customer service ever!
