I reserved an SUV and the Helena branch "upgraded" me to a small car and told me I had to pay extra for the SUV. The owner/manager of the place was argumentative, about the reservation and the pricing. The insurance I selected when reserving the car ended up being with a third party, which was not made clear. The wiper fluid was low so that kept flashing on the dash of the car. The paperwork/numbers in the system for the car were wrong so it showed I turned the car in to Billings with about 9000 fewer miles that it has on the car. The car functioned but nothing else about the experience would make me rebook this or recommend it to others.Reviewed 2024 Dec 31

One way rental Helena was good agency no complaints O'Hare Budget overcharged extra 2 days ! I had to pass time on phone & email to get it PARTLY resolved I still have to fight for all daily fees that are as I write this counted 2 days extraReviewed 2024 Aug 26

The car was fine, although it had obviously been smoked in and the smell poorly covered up. The counter people were great for the most part. Trying to deal with the website and the phone system that won't allow calls to anything but a call center staffed by people whose first language isn't english was a nightmare. Won't be renting from Budget ever again.Reviewed 2024 Aug 05
