While I had requested a economy/small vehicle, I got a small SUV. Fortunately it got good gas mileage. It was very clean, ran well, and served our needs. The person working the Budget counter when I picked up the car was not overly friendly. He didn't seem particularly interested in his job. Later in the day that I rented the car, I discovered I had lost my driver's license. It most likely happened at a beach, but I thought it might be possible that I left it at the Budget counter. I called the counter a couple of times trying to reach the employee, but my two calls were forwarded to a main Budget number. I drove back to the airport to try to talk to the employee. I discovered he was chatting with the gentleman at the information booth. It was frustrating that no one ever picked up the phone at the counter.Reviewed 2025 Dec 21

Awful. I will never be using budget again. They closed early leaving my wheelchair bound wife with no rental car. Had to spend $150 on Ubers to the Airbnb and then back to the airport the NEXT DAY where they then forced her into an upgrade. Awful awful company. The customer service agent on the phone was rude. They didn't even compensate us for the one day shorter rental.Reviewed 2025 Dec 20

Very understaffed. They gave me a car, then wouldn’t let me leave because it was in someone else’s name. They had 1 person working the desk outside and he had to go get cars for people. It was very long and disorganized.Reviewed 2025 Dec 20

I went to return my car and they only take payment by a credit card. I came back to pay cash and they told me no we dong accept cash, so I went to pay debit and they told we dont take debit. You can only pay by a credit card. Im like I dont want to pay with that card. It does not say anywhere in the agreement that I have to pay with a credit card. Also when I was picking up the card there was a guy there that was so frustrated with them and spoke out that he will not be renting from them again. Nut sure what his problem was but he was not happy at all.Reviewed 2025 Dec 18

Car was not cleaned inside or outside. Pick up was 3 miles from airport, the train was easy to use but had to leave my family and bags at baggage claim and come back with the rental.Reviewed 2025 Dec 18

Charged us for the toll pass when we didn’t need it. Since they charged us for the toll pass we decided to take the toll. The toll pass was then invalid and we couldn’t use it. We spoke with Charles and Evelyn who confirmed they would reverse the fee and send and email for confirmation and never did. Horrible service.Reviewed 2025 Dec 17

The service desk was awful. The rep at the counter was rude, openly annoyed, extremely unhelpful, and seemed to revel in charging us more when we needed to switch from an all electric to gas vehicle. No where in our reservation was it started that I was renting an all electric vehicle. When needing to extend the reservation, the customer service line was completely unhelpful and suggested the website. Overall horrendous experience, will not be renting from Budget Savannah anymore.Reviewed 2025 Dec 16

Per Kayak and the Budget confirmation I had a Mitsubishi ready for pick up at noon. However, when I got there to Budget there were no cars available. I am also fighting to recoup my $39 Rental Cover fee for a car that was no available. I ended up going to Enterprise instead.Reviewed 2025 Dec 15
