Cons:Car was dirty with food on steering wheel and center counsel windows were so dirty I had to pull over and wife a circle so I could see out of it. Vehicle was supposed to be Covid-19 safety sanitized with a sticker and no such thing. Also I reserved a SUV and ended up in an Nissan Altima and told “oh well it’s all we have”Reviewed 2020 Nov 14

Nothing but trouble...Pros:I didn't like any part of it!Cons:The lady at the Dollar/Hertz rental was very rude! I didn't get the car I reserved and missed out on the entire Thanksgiving Holiday with my Father and sisters. I got charged $45.00 for insurance that I didn't get to use! Pros:The car and program was fineCons:The agent in Lafayette kept us quite a long time trying to sell upgrades and insurance. Due to this sales approach the other people ahead of us delayed us by close to an hour, which caused us to miss a function that we were supposed to attend. We arranged the car in advance in order to avoid delay in pick up because we knew time was short to get to our destination. Also the deposit of over $100 was not given as expected at car return because my husband left the keys in the car instead of bringing them to the desk, and we were asked to go to the gate instead of retrieving the keys. I can only hope that this will be corrected and our refund processed. Thank you. Everything else about the car was fine.Reviewed 2017 Oct 15

Car not readyCons:The reservation was made for a 1:00pm pick up and when I got there I was told there were no cars available I had to wait 45 minutes and this might not seem like a lot to Dollar rental however when I had to drive to New Orleans and wasted time at the airport pacing waiting for the car when I could have been spending my last hour with my newborn grandson I found this very upsetting. This delay caused me to get to New Orleans airport with very little time as my flight was boarding I didn't even have time to refuel so I had that added expense just a total waste! Didn't get the carPros:They tried to fix my problem as best they could.Cons:I reserved a Premium SUV "Chevy Tahoe or similar" vehicle. When I arrived they tried to give me a Nissan Pathfinder that sat 7. It wasn't "or similar". I initially tried to make it work but after I started to try to pack luggage in it and take into account the 7 people that would be riding in it I returned it. They accepted the return without any fuss and I ended up renting a minivan a couple of counters over. For about twice as much. The attendant told me that the vehicle I was supposed to have was kept an extra day by the previous renter and that there wasn't much she could do about it. I believe that to be true, but it didn't help my wallet any. They were nice and apologetic but couldn't help me at all.Reviewed 2016 Jun 14
