Employee didn't know how to process my reservation with Apple Card. They were out of the type of car I reserved so gave me something very different and I didn't even know how to operate it and they didn't explain anything. I had to call Hertz to request a no-show refund because the employee just made a new transaction when he couldn't figure out how to use my actual reservation. Then all those delays with the card caused us to miss the event we were renting the car to go to so we had to waste a couple hours to do the event at a different time. The girl in Lafayette where I rented the car was extremely nice. The Hertz people in Nashvlle when dropping the car off were extremely RUDE. The car was ok not super comfortable but ok. The rAtes are outrageous. Also, I paI’d ahead for the car with a major credit card. You guy putting another $200 hold on my acct for days is unacceptable. I had already paid for the car. Ridiculous and I don’t like being told that AFTER I’ve already rented the car. I have insurance. No reason to do that.Reviewed 2021 Nov 08

Pros:NothingCons:They are scam artist behind the counter at LFT. They literally had the audacity to try to charge me for a broken windshield that I did not break. They have no cameras around the rental car area yet claimed it was my fault. Absolute trash employees and trash company, I will never rent from hertz ever again.Reviewed 2021 May 27

Pros:NothingCons:The vehicle being available. Pickup location said the vehicle wasn’t available and that the online reservation doesn’t care if anything is available that they get paid no matter what. Pros:I was given a full refund in 7 - 10 days.Cons:My car rental location was not at the airport where I landed. I had asked for Lafayette LA airport and was given an off-site location that was closed when I landed. Hertz managers did not help and left me stranded without a car and unable to get to my hotel an 1:45 mins away. Very disappointed.Reviewed 2019 Aug 01
