I ordered Hertz car through Kayak and then I cancelled Hertz. Kayak and Hertz can't seem to get it straight that I didn't get the car. I keep getting messages, "Are you ready for your trip?" It was extremely hard to get the refund. They charged me a $50 cancellation fee. Don't go near Kayak or Hertze!Reviewed 2023 Apr 30

Reserved a full-size truck or SUV, vehicle was switched out for a "Crossover SUV", which did not meet my needs. Was informed of this after I had arrived at the airport. Hertz rep said there were no options, yet there were Hertz trucks in the rental lot. They did not compensate price completely.Reviewed 2022 Apr 22

I flew to Midland Odessa. When I signed up with Kayak there was no clarity that I would not be picking the car up at the airport and had to spend another $22 and wasted time to go and pick it up at the outside site. Thanks Kayak.Reviewed 2022 Mar 06

Okay the car was not clean properly and also I noticed some issues. Bad smell and was showing some warning on front bumper sensors. Looks like it needed front end alignment even the steering wheel was crooked. My options thy need to put more attention to the vehicles THANKSReviewed 2021 Oct 26

After my plane was delayed, Hertz decided to give my reserved car away to other people as there was a large conference in town that week. Ended up costing me $500 for an Uber to get to my destination because no other company had cars either. Lady at the counter was useless and made no effort to help me.Reviewed 2021 Oct 21
