Cons: Due to a local festival going on, the parking was very difficult. Also, the sign of the hotel was not easily visible from the road.

Cons: When I got there I had to carry my luggage and a sleeling child by myself. not a single employee asked if I needed help. Thank goodness there were mond guests at the hotel who helped me on to the elevator. I went to eat at the restaurant that was attached to the hotel, Heritage, & I kept being told they were understaffed. The food was good, but the customer service wasn't. I ordered a cheeseburger for my son and a cobb salad without onions for myself. When our food arrived there was no cheese on the burger and there were onions on my salad. It took me a good 10 mins to flag down my server to get our food fixed. On the day we were leaving, we waited to try and get on an elevator for over 45 minutes because they only have 2 elecators for the entire hotel. We ended up using some crazy staircase they led us in the wrong direction. Long story short the hotel is beautiful. The customer service is horrible.

Cons: Location, scratchy parking and commute to get to hotel from parking lot.

Cons: There were two drawbacks. One was the parking. The garage was really gross, with garbage everywhere and even an abandoned car. The garage entrance is far from the hotel entrance. The garage has an attendant hiding in a room so it's as though the garage is unattended and anyone off the street can go in there. And on top of all that the hotel doesn't validate parking. It's just a random downtown garage that isn't part of the hotel and doesn't feel very safe. The other drawback was that everything in the hotel closes early so if you want to do anything other than sleep you might have to go to the casinos anyway.

Cons: Cramped and slow The elevators are slow and malfunctioned several times during my stay. The entry felt as though I was sneaking in the back door of a night club. There was no convenience store and all of the public areas felt cramped. Location - Downside The convenient location can be a bad thing as my last night found me trying to sleep with a rock concert going on in the street literally under my window. Admittedly, though, I did try to go to bed early and the music was over by 10:30. Internet Deficiency The W-Fi was horrible. It was spotty and required accepting of the terms every time it reconnected. The Wi-Fi that's free with your stay was slower than my cell phone and the broadband we paid for in hosting a conference wasn't much faster. *What's worse, that broadband was down for two of the three days of our conference.* That was a whole lot of money down the tubes.

Cons: The only negative thing i have to say about whitney peak is the parking, which is across the street from the hotel and plus its an additional charge. Otherwise, all is good.

Cons: The entrance is not the greatest but they said it was because of the win festival so everyone had to valet. The air conditioner in the hallways was out, they said they were working on in when we got there upon check out 2 night later it was still out. Not a casino which sucks kinda miss coming downstairs and gambling.

Cons: They really need to work on the elevator situation. For a hotel of that size to only have two working elevators is unacceptable. Expect 5 min waits at the elevator and to squeeze like sardines when you get on.

Cons: We were told the sauna and steam was available to us, but when we found it were told we couldn’t be there and it was closed. I also did not know it was a pet friendly hotel thinking that the rooms would smell but they did not. In saying that I’m hoping they keep a section of the hotel without pets

Cons: Excited to eat at the restaurant, we were disappointed to be told there was a wait for the kitchen to catch up even though half the restaurant was empty. We don't terribly mind a wait but were further surprised that we were not offered an empty table for a drink or two. No pagers or method of contact were available to let us know when they could seat us, which made the situation a bit more ackward. We finally made the decision to eat elsewhere, at Campo and were so glad we did. Excellent food & service!

Cons: No swimming pool

Cons: Tried to eat dinner at Roundabout Grill, which is the restaurant located at the hotel, but order was taken incorrectly after being asked about it twice, so the wrong food was brought out then it took an extra 20+ minutes to get the correct food. The staff was very kind and accommodating in trying to correct the mistake, but due to time constraints with other activities, I was forced to ask for a refund and never had a chance to eat the food which was wasted along with the hour I spent waiting. This won't keep me from trying to eat there on another trip, but it was a pretty frustrating experience especially as a guest of the hotel.

Cons: Slow elevators

Cons: Never once saw a manager in 4 days. Poorly poorly managed. No one seemed to know what was going on or who was in charge. Housekeeping was awful..awful. Asked for extra blankets and were told by one they didn't have any. The never replaced our towels and never refilled our coffee pods or glass ware. Dirty sheets and towels piled down hallways for hours. Disgusting. We had to walk over mounds of dirty sheets and towels to get to our room. We even saw some sheets and towels with vomit and blood on them. Can't imagine the health department would approve. Just get a cart and leave at both hallway ends to put soiled linens in instead of having guests have to see this. It wasn't just a few minutes or even an hour, it was hours. Steve Wynn would flip a lid seeing this. Totally understaffed for New Years Eve holiday. 3 slow elevators that also serve for housekeeping and everything else so mornings are insane and takes 15-20 minutes to get down. Rude front desk staff, had no clue what was going on at all and seemed put off to even be asked a question. For some reason they cram all of the food items, toaster, etc. in a small corner section of the concierge lounge so everyone has to crowd in to that corner and wait for their toast, etc. It would be so much better to move the computer and printer into that corner space and spread the food items out on the long bar area at the end of the room or anywhere else in the nice big large rooms. Anyone with basic food and hospitality knowledge would quickly see this as an easy crowd control flow fix. The literature all says the lounge is open all day but whenever you try to access not during the breakfast or evening times, it was locked. The entrance to the hotel could use some updating, upgrading. Automatic doors would be nice as opposed to 2 sets of heavy doors that collapse on you as you come through with luggage and poor bellman. The showers had luke warm water and no water pressure. That was a major bummer.

Cons: Staff is still a bit green; Breaking a $20 bill at the front desk shouldn't require the desk staff having to leave the desk to go to the office I didn't realize mixed drinks were available in the conc. lounge until I was ready to leave

Cons: Overnight valet parking was a bit expensive, especially for those who do not require in and out privileges. Vegetarian options in regards to room service were very limited, but it wouldn't keep us from coming back.

Cons: The dining menu was great... but need some cushion chairs- There is a room divider made up of wood logs- cool look but when I sat nearby for breakfast... the smell of moldy dampness pervaded the air... fix that- and fix the rickety rocking tables. Get an auto door opener at your Entry way—- or a handicap door opener. Get better seating in lobby. Those leather chairs...dysfunctional too low hung- - maybe some leather contemporary high back chairs for those taller folk that need to sit in the lobby for a meeting. Get rid of fake flowers- fake trees- use real flowers real greens and , and real trees. And fresh flowers on each floor lobby. Fresh, pure, real.

Cons: No pool or spa. Restaurant service was slow. Bartenders were slow. Restaurant value was low. I will probably not stay there again.

Cons: 1. The restaurant and bar and room service closes at 9pm...10 pm... on the weekends. Seriously??? 2. There was not a guide to the hotel included in the room. A rock climbing gym that is the entire 2nd floor and one whole face of the building...kinda cool...but explain it to me. How's it work? Other services? 3. The menu under the glass top of the night table...really? Pretty cheesy. Put the menu in the hotel guide, see above. 4. Glass tops on the night tables? Really? 5. The bathroom was tiny and not well remodelled - tiny tub, shower head at about 5'3"...I'm 6'4", I could barely wash my armpits...

Cons: Valet took 1 hour to get my car. Hotel is hard to find, there is no major street you can use to get there. Staff seemed too young, immature, and didnt really care about guest's concerns. Restaurant is not good but ok if your starving. They make it seem like your staying at the most luxurious place on earth but its nothing fancy. And who cares about rock climbing? Get a pool or something!

Cons: Everything felt cheap. The room has only one winow ando the bath tub felt like it was flexing underneath me. Walls are very thin. And you can hear everything out side. Only parking was valet unless you wanted to walk.

Cons: The Mexican Restaurant is horrible. The Asian restaurant is so-so. The best eating experience was California Pizza Kitchen.

Cons: During the hottest week of the year, our room stayed at a toasty 75 degrees and we had no sleep for the first two nights. Also, the buffet was overpriced and not very good. Very disappointed!

Cons: Missing safe, missing refrigerator, missing blow dryer in the room. Claimed that Nevada state fire code does not allow rollaway in a room with 2 beds and there is no mention of this when booking. I can't find this mentioned anywhere in any code online, so it seems like a BS reason. The square footage was certainly big enough to accommodate it.

Cons: The beds were too soft for us so we didn't sleep well. There were no microwave and refrigerator in the room (only available in Summit suites). Bath tub drain ran slowly.

Cons: GSR charge me more beside of Room Rate. -House keeping Gratuity -Resort Fee, Daily Resort Fee -Tourism Fee So don’t expect the price that you pay online is the exact amount that you only paying, when you get to the hotel they will ask you for another $50 that’s why they want your ID & Credit card. After you check out they will charge you all of this hidden fees.

Cons: Lex Nightclub was terrible!! We booked VIP Tables (yes, more than one) in advance and when we arrived, we were told the table price had gone up by $300 a table. What's the point in a reservation? And he was RUDE! No class or customer service.

Cons: Disrespect by blackjack dealer at 25$ min table. She said I may be better to find a table with lower limit. I asked her if she wanted me to leave she said she just dosnt want to me to be mad at her. I coulnt even beleave what just happend. I Told Jim the pit boss working that she was rude to me. Jim was extremely rude and couldn't even have a direct conversation with me. He was passaive and told me I should mind my own business. This experace put me in a overall bad mood and I didn't play blackjack for the rest of my stay.

Cons: Rooms were a bit outdated. Bath-tap faucet became loose and we could not use the shower when we needed it. ( long drive from las Vegas through Dead Valley) Room repair came and fixed the faucet prompt.

Cons: Hotel is pricey. Restaurants were expensive other than then Cafe Milano. Not really for family vacation it had more of a resort feel. Great couple get away

Cons: The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke, had to air them out for a day with the window open to get the smoke out. The front desk was generally slow, the sheets had holes in them and were not tucked in well.

Cons: On premise restaurants seemed rather pricy.

Cons: Room was fairly dark even with the lamps on. Had to unplug a lamp to be able to plug in and use the keurig coffee maker in the room. Shower door has no handle on the inside to close it, had to grab bottom of door to close from the inside.

Cons: OUR ROOM SEEMED OVER CROWDED, AND NEEDED SOME REPAIRS TO ITEMS IN THE ROOM. TURNED IN A NOTE WITH THE LIST OF ITEMS WHEN WE CHECKED OUT.

Cons: The hallways smelled absolutely horrible, granted we were on the smoking floor, but I always stay on the smoking floor because when I am drinking I like to indulge a little bit, the smell was disgusting it smelt like stale cigarettes and someone dead, absolutely disgusting. Once we got into the room it was even worse, I complained about it to the front desk and they didn't do anything just a sorry that's how the rooms smell. Our bed had several broken springs, extremely uncomfortable, and our sheets had stains on them! So disgusting! Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. At check out I told the guest person how disgusting the room was and she simply ignored me and asked if I wanted the balance on my debit card. HORRIBLE room, HORRIBLE customer service. Spend the extra ten bucks and stay at the el dorado, they have luxury rooms with comfy beds, smoking rooms don't smell, and you are actually getting what you paid for, these were disgusting rooms for a luxury price, horrible.

Cons: The gentleman that checked me in seemed a bit aloof and did not seem properly concerned with the few questions I asked while checking in.

Cons: This place is awful. The rooms are outdated, similar to a Motel 6. Never staying here again.

Cons: The only issue is parking. Most of them is compact size and lots of minivans just jamming in without considering other people. Need to work on that.

Cons: I booked three rooms for 2-beds, non-smoking, from 12/25-12/26. To ensure the rooms, I did online check-in, Confirmation No: hotels.com:235887711, and also called in at 3pm to check-in over the phone. When I arrived at 6pm, I was told only 2 rooms were ready. I agreed to wait for the 3rd room, but found out all rooms were assigned as one-bed non-smoking room. After I complained, the lady switched me to 2-beds, smoking room. She kept telling me the confirmation didn't meant to get me a room that I preferred. This is the first time I learned that confirmation doesn't guarantee anything.

Cons: HBO would have been nice. Other than that, I really can't complain. For other novice gamblers, I strongly suggest eating at one of the restaurants before visiting the casino.

Cons: Were renovating rooms on the floor I was on. It was extremely loud and made it hard to sleep in after a night out.

Cons: Our room was located near the staff cafeteria so the hallway always smelled like a cafeteria. We had a totally budget room. No mirror outside the bathroom. Small TV. Extremely noisy, had to call security at 2:45am to get them to quite down the rooms around us. There was a large flying beetle in our room. The shower head was almost to low for me and I am only 5'4". The parking garage ceiling is so low (approx 7') that our truck barely fit and the parking spaces are for compacts. I've stayed in Reno 4 times this year at 3 different resorts. I would never stay here again.

Cons: When checking in were initially given a room that was classified as business, which means NO WINDOWS. When I mentioned it was my birthday, the desk clerk graciously offered a better room. Is this the way Kayak operates? I had requested the deluxe room at the $98 rate

Cons: For the price and location of downtown Reno the hotel was adequate and ok for the weekend stay. Housekeeping constantly would just walk in the room without knocking, apparently if there isn't a "Do Not Disturb" sign, it's free game. Had to take quick showers as the shower drain was terrible, ankle deep water within 5 minutes. The TV remote was broken, took 4 different phone calls to the front desk and half a day to get a new one. Be careful not to leave any soda, energy drink, juice, water bottles/cans in the room, the housekeeping marks it down as taking it from the wet bar even if the brand you drank isn't in the wet bar. The Eldorado itself isn't the place to stay if you're not over 55 and a "Card Club/Players Club" gambler.
