Great car for a long trip and had the cargo space we needed. The price, of course, was ridiculous, however the best I could find at this time.

It’s was terrible. We paid for the rental in full when we reserved the car and time online. Normally when we reserve a car and time, we check in, get the car, and be off. However when we got there, the employee unenthusiastically told us there were no cars on their lot and that we’d have to be put on a waiting list and they’d call us for when a car gets dropped off. No other solutions or guidance. We had to dig and ask, when is the cars coming in, how many people are ahead of us waiting, what happens if the waiting list outnumbers the amount of cars coming in that day, etc… We weren’t the only customers affected and a few others before and after us got the same answer. We were stuck, so we waited for almost two hours for a car to come in. The lady told us just because you pay for a car, it doesn’t mean that you will guarantee have a car available at pick up. WTH, why even reserve a car, pick up time, and pay in full if that’s the case. Sorry, but not recommending this car rental or using Kayak as a third party. I can just imagine the pain getting in touch with you guys to cancel and get our money back if we got another car from elsewhere.

Horrible. They didn't have the car at the prescribed time. We reserved a car for 12:00 but it wasn't ready until 1:30. So, because we needed to run errands right away, they offered to take us to a shopping center. But when we called to be picked up, they said they could be there in 20 mins, but it took them 50 because they didn't leave until 30 minutes later. So we didn't get out car until 2:30. Then they expected the car back at 12:00 on despite only getting it at 2:30. Now they have charged me an additional $100 for an unspecified reason and not given me the discount I was promised for the wait. Do not rent with them.

I had reserved a car over a month in advance from Hertz for when I was in town for my aunts memorial services in Tahoe. I took an uber from my hotel in reno to the rental agency...only to find out they had no cars available. And on top of that...I was on a wait list wirh 5 people ahead of me waiting to get their cars. How on earth am I able to reserve a car and get a confirmation number ..yet...there is no car available for me when I arrive?? I ended up hailing a cab to drive me to my aunts memorial service to make it on time...and had to spend 180 dollars each way. Let me also mention, the lady at the front desk when I arrived was unsympathetic and short. I know its not her fault...but some compassion for my situation would have gone a long way.

Reminder that a credit card was required, not a debit card.. Also that after hours drop off was available. Rushed there to drop off, had to take an uber back to where we were 5 mins away and costed $20+

Not a full size as rented but a corolla. No discount given. Car had 43,000 miles which is a lot for a rental

Attendant that walked to car for departure, slovenly, unfriendly. Treated me like a prisoner. A slob. A boor.

Friendly, but not helpful. Arrived and there were zero rental vehicles available despite the reservation being paid for and reserved over a week in advance. When asked if there were other locations with availability was just told no locations have any without even checking.Don't offer a product and/or service Hertz can not comply with after charging customers for it. Fraudulent charges are happening to many customers. Poorly run business.
