Pros: The friendly staff
Cons: Sixt no longer operate at the provided pick up place. THE contact telephone number is not in service. THE Suzuki jeep is a 2017 model and had travelled just under 35,000 km. It was worn inside with carpeting tha is loose, a hole in the driver's seat and sea salt stains on front seats. The plastic door panels were old and had ingrained dirt. Also the alloy spare wheel which was fastened to the rear door by three nuts. There was no locking device, so this could be easily stolen. The staff informed that this was how it came from the manufacturer and if stolen I would need to pay $400 US. I shall not rent another vehicle from Sixt.
Cons: Mot the car we asked to long begoten puck up drop off ras okay
Pros: we had changed our pickup from airport to hotel. sixt member picked us up at hotel in our car and then brought us to nearby office to do paperwork. prompt return. no added fees or mandatory insurance purchases.
Pros: Drop-off was easy, pick-up there was a long line but the staff were friendly.
Cons: Nothing other than more staffing at the pick up counter. Driving a manual transmission on the island is invaluable, especially if you are going climbing/into the state parks.
Cons: Car not ready, Given a replacement the was dirty and all scratched up. Told would upgrade it if we came back the next day. They would not do it when we came back. Car very basic: no air bags, manual windows and door locks, very under powered. Signed up for a car that would hold three suit cases but the only way that could happen is if you put suit cases in the back seat. Drop off actually was ok.
Terrible for sixt
Pros: It semi worked.
Cons: Car radio was broken from the getgo..something was wrong with the engine because gas mileage was terrible and shifting was delayed and very slow. Old vehicle. No Bluetooth. No one picked up by phone even though I called them directly at the desk, heard the phone ring and I was the only one there. Terrible staff reaction time and presence. Low standards.
Did I really get an economy car?
Pros: The car was clean and full of gas.
Cons: Check-in was slow. Is there something that can be done about this? I was given a Kia Picanto, which to me is not similar to a Hyundai Accent. Tiny trunk unable to accommodate more than two travel bags. It’s difficult to believe the Kia Picanto qualifies as an Economy class auto.
Pros: Old car, not comfy
Pros: Check in and check out 20 minutes per customer is much to long.
