Cancelled - never knew it was an off-site location!! Called for pickup instructions & no answer 3x! Texted to cancel 2x - no response via text either!
This continues to be the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. I booked for a Toyota Corolla and received a Honda Accord. No big deal, except it was scratched all over, dinged all around the car, and the horn didn’t work. Okay, not the end of the world. They charged me $50 a day for insurance because I didn’t have a credit card. My bad for not having a credit card. They wanted to charge me $25 a day for the daily pass on tolls. At first I said no, but when I realized I may need to pay tolls one day of my week in Tampa, I called and they told me I’d need to pay $25 for every day of the reservation, even the days that had passed. This is one of the wildest, most cutthroat business policies I’ve ever heard of. I declined. It’s been 20 business days since I dropped off the car rental experience. Have I received my $500 refund? No. When I call and ask about it, are they rude and hang up the phone on me? Absolutely. Yes. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM PRICELESS.
This is the new bait and switch. They shuttle you off airport (even though it says there are cars at the terminal). After a longer ride than indicated, they ask you to carry a ridiculous amount of insurance and (since no one carries that high coverage), then they charge you a ridiculous amount to extra insure their cars. Horrible staff; rude.
I would NEVER rent with this company. They were rude and wanted a $2000 deposit for us to use our own coverage which we have amazing car rental insurance with. This was never stated anywhere and We were talked to rudely. Did not go through with the rental but was super disappointed with this place. We have rented so many cars and have never had a bad experience like this. Don’t recommend
Your website LIED. When I chose the selection, it said in terminal. It was NOT. It was more than 15 away and their shuttle wasn’t labeled. As a woman with her daughter alone it was unacceptable and not comfortable at all. We ended up going back into the airport and renting a different car from someone else and I’m still waiting for you or priceless to refund me!!!
Oh my god, there's a reason they have 1.4 stars on Google. DO NOT BOOK, no matter how cheap the prices! I never got my car, nor my money back. I booked the car for 8pm, knowing my flight arrived around 8:30pm, and got to the pick-up area before 9pm... But there was no pick up, they close at 9pm, and if you don't pick up your car within 2 hours of your booking, the entire booking is cancelled. Which I did not learn until I went the next day (after ubering to my hotel and back again to get the car) and then they wanted to charge me $50/day for the vehicle when I had originally paid $100 for 9 days. I explained I had car insurance (they have outrageously specific details on insurance on their website, read it carefully) but somehow it didn't matter. I had spoken with a rental rep the night before via the number provided by Priceless when I was waiting for the pickup that never came, and they said they put a note in my file about it, but clearly it didn't make a difference. Thankfully I'd looked up a different car rental with higher reviews on my uber to Priceless and once I learned my whole booking was cancelled for something beyond my control, I ubered to the other rental place and had a better experience. You will actually spend more money (and time) booking this "cheap" option than a slightly more expensive one---save yourself the hassle and lost money and go ANYWHERE else.
