There was a priority line, but for some reason I didn't get in it, although I fly business. The line was not that long but it just did not move. And the a/c was not working. Worst boarding experience ever and I've been flying for over 40 years. When I boarded finally I asked if I could give a review and although they said yes- nothing. So I hope someone who cares sees this."

Flight out of Istanbul was late. The reading light did not work. The crew was very nice and service was good. Again, luggage did not arrive. This time 2 out of 2 pieces. One piece arrived a day later the second took more than 48 h."

The security in Israel is very intense, so this was a big hassle. Then they only had 3-4 gate agents to rebook all 300+ people on the flight so we waited in like for 3 hours."

At the very end, when they finally put me on a flight, they chastised me for not checking in online---this was NEVER offered to me by Lufthansa on my flight there or on the return. With other airlines they always send me an email to check in online ahead of time. Lufthansa did not. I could not have been more disappointed with this checking in experience with Lufthansa. Again, the worst in my life and would be cause for me not to recommend Lufthansa to others. Otherwise, the flight itself and the actual crew were great. So disappointing to have such an unprofessional check in experience."

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM."

I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Cons: "Cabin was very cold. Not enough legroom compared to orher international carriers. Male flight attendant kept bumping into my husband sitting in aisle seat so he unable to get any sleep. We tried upgrading to business but Delta said we had to contact Air France in Detroit. When thrre, the gentleman on ground crew was actually rude when I asked about it. He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

Pros: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

The extra leg room seats at the exit aisles I was offered don't recline. (This wasn't true on the next flight). At 5 feet tall, given the option, I would pass up on the extra leg room and take a reclining seat. This is something that should be made very clear before the flight!"

Cons: "Flight was at 10:30pm. Waited at the gate from 9:00-10:40 with no news. Nobody knew what was going on or what we were waiting for. Finally at 10:40 they announced that the flight would be delayed, even though we had figured it out by then. At 11 the flight crew showed up. We finally boarded at 11:30 and we arrived an hour late to our destination. They offered drinks to the 2 people flying "business class" (they were just sitting in the front but amongst the economy class seats) at the very beginning, but then waited to serve everyone else, but as it was late, most people were already sleeping. We arrived an hour late."

Entertainment options were awesome; latest movies, shows, documentaries, etc. Food options for AVML were good and plentiful. Flavors and temperature were just right. Staff was courteous."

Pros: "TAP Airlines did not fly this route for day and probably hired NEOS Airlines to fly as charter or contract this route only? NEOS Airlines is an Italian airline probably comparable to Southwest Airlines in the USA. It's a cattle car airline with no frills. Crew was very professional, food was actually good. A sandwich that was of course Italian ingredients. Seats were comfortable for the 3 hour flight."

Cons: "My round trip ticket was purchased and in the confirmation it stated that it included one free checked bag. i also went online to reserve a window seat which cost 12.95. When I got to the airport I was told I had to pay 110 for my one checked bag as well as they had moved me to an aisle seat. Basically scammed me out of 122.95. I have complained with ygthe airline and if it is not resolved I will not be flying with them again."

We were never told the plane was delayed or how long we should expect to wait. We just stood at the gate waiting to board and time ticked further and further past the boarding time listed on our tickets."
Cons: "My flight to Miami was delayed due to weather. I missed my connection to LHR, therefore missed my TAP flight to Portugal. I called TAP (before the flight) and they would not change the flight because I went through a travel site. My $240 ticket was lost, and I had to pay over $900 for a new one. I doubt I will use an internet site again because I will unlikely get a refund and it was impossible to change the ticket. Feel awful!"

They kept us well informed though, not the end of the world."

Cons: "We were in first class, and no On Demand IFE!!! You do have a personal screen in the seatback, but they only play continual loop movies. For us, we started with one movie, but then due to technical difficulties, the crew had to reboot the entire system. So once it was back up and running, they switched the movie. And even that one didn't play through....apparently, at some point they determine its "bedtime" and turn off the IFE!! Crazy in this day and age!!! Also, the plane is old and REALLY worn. Lots of dirt, tired seats, yucky bathrooms, etc. This plane needs an overhaul!! No storage anywhere in the seats either, which was shocking. And the angle lay flat seats are certainly fantastic in comparison to Coach seats, but still hard to sleep and get comfortable."

But then the stewardess had to spray something in the air around the bins, I found that to be very strange."

Cons: "My first flight from Madrid to Portugal was cancelled (at midnight) so I had to sleep in the terminal because the bus they provided to the hotel couldn't take all of us. Then my flight to New Jersey was delayed several hours making me miss my next flight to Denver (home) and I had to spend a 2nd night in the terminal. I never received and hotel/food/taxi vouchers. I will do everything to avoid flying with TAP Portugal ever again."
