I booked Emirate flight but I couldn’t find Emirate flight in Dhaka.It was a lot of confusion before I found out that my flight was fly Dubai. I was about to miss my flight; bad experience, sorry. From Dubai to JFK , it was fantastic.

Cons: "Boarding process seems standard - always takes a long time to board and disembark. Older planes have screens with poor touchscreen responsiveness and poor resolution. I was surprised to see that the short-haul flights had better screens than the long-haul flights. I was on a 3 1/2 hour flight each way from Dubai/Delhi with beautiful screens but the long-haul each way from Dubai/Seattle had the crappy screens."
Pros: "I definitely love Emirates' use of the A380 as it is more spacious and therefore offers a more comfortable ride. It also helps that their cabin crew were accommodating and the services offered onboard were good."

The passenger beside me was pushing well into my space, and the rambunctious flight attendants kept marching right into me and banging my seat with the cart, once also spilling water all over me. Cons: "First, the seats were very small and uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping, and, the seat was stuck (couldn't move back). And second, the food tasted horrendous. I have been on many flights, and this was perhaps the worst meal I've ever had. The coffee was bitter enough to make me gag (even after I added cream), and the chicken was flavorless. The boarding process was a mess. It was hectic and unorganized. The flight was delayed an hour, and the crew failed to provide an adequate rationale as to why. Speaking of the crew, they weren't helpful. At one point, I had asked to use the restroom, and I couldn't get in. Again the crew provided no rationale as to why. Then, a few HOURS later, a lady approached me and said I could go "very quickly". This was my first time flying with Emirates and I don't think I'll be flying with them again."
Pros: "Good sleep is most important & emirates is very good in this regard. Food is only fair especially the hot food served at dinner. Wines served are generally of a good to a high standard. Some crew members are better than others. Some are really excellent including any of the Irish members of the team - they always standout with their warmth, friendship & ability to read people & situations."

Rather we are told to struggle to the wrong locations for check-in and then re-routed to another desk far across the building just to be brought to the original place silly and cruel, isn't it?"

Pros: "The best economy seating out there. Emirates still makes you feel like a person even though you are in economy. Unlike other airlines Emirates flight crew treats you very well, they are polite, the food is good and the seating is very comfortable. It makes a 16 hour flight pleasureable. Thank you Emirates!!!"

Pros: "Barcelona to Dubai flight - the flight attendants were personable, helpful, and very courteous. In-flight service was frequent with many stops to check on the passengers of a very full flight. Wonderful and attentive service, even when juggling such a large number of passengers. I was very impressed with the work ethic of this crew."
Cons: "The flight attendants on the Dubai to Singapore flight were surprisingly unhelpful. It was a mostly empty flight and yet during this flight, there were very infrequent beverage service. When I activated my call flight attendant button, no one stopped by. This included at least 3 different flight attendants passing me, some more than a few times, and not once did anyone stop. After waiting for 10 - 15 minutes, I turned off the light and went to the galley part of the plane, only to find a group of flight attendants socializing. I requested a drink and it was handed to me without the attendant every making eye contact as the attendant still was facing and engaged in their conversation. This is not the first time I have experienced this on an Emirates flight so I think the staff training may need to be reinforced. Business class service on Emirates is quite good. But I fly both Economy and Business class. The experiences in Economy did affect my decision on which airline I generally fly with for business class travel."

It took 2 hours to get through customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."

Cons: "We arrived onetime yet Emirates did not have a gate at SFO so we were parked on the tarmac for over an hour after a 16 hours flight. When we got thru immigration in record time due to the newly installed kiosks, we waited for 2.5hours to get our luggage, there was only one carousel open for an entire A380 airplane with all its luggage and the boxes were piling up on each other, some of them were crushed due to overloading, it took them 2 hours to open a second carousel to offload all of the bags. During this entire time, the Emirates representatives were unhelpful, the local SFO personnel were quite disorganized as well."

No entertainment and no food so that rating is N/A. Hour and a half flight - Madrid airport is a bit of a challenge for out of the country travelers but everyone is willing to help you find your way.
There was not enough time to get through security without running and cutting lines. I like that all my documents where in order before I got in line.
The check in was very long, total chaos at Madrid airport.

The ticket was by no means low-cost, so I don't understand why that wasn't included in the price. Despite purchasing my flight months prior, and arriving at the airport with plenty of time to to check in, I was told that I was going to be bumped from my flight because it was overbooked, which would mean that I would miss my international connection. After waiting for everyone else to board on a tiny flight, there suddenly was a seat available and they let me board, but they managed to not put my bag on the flight, which means I have no luggage. Lastly, despite checking in more than 7 hours ahead of time for the international flight, I was given a middle seat and was told that I would have to pay $40 if I wanted to switch to an aisle/window. The middle seat was cramped and uncomfortable, particularly for 8 hours (after 7 hours of connections and waiting in airports). UGH."

Fine for a short flight
ET flights are hot Al’s uncomfortable: the air is typically not on and you feel like cattle. With boarding delays, asking repeatedly for water gets ignored and with the heat, it’s a very unpleasant experience. The food is starchy with the salad as couscous; more starch not a salad. The drinks are a good variety, however.

My entertainment screen wasn’t working. After resetting, it took them an hour to inform me that I could move to another seat if I wanted to, as they couldn’t resolve the problem with the screen. The food lacked in flavour and the sausage served for breakfast was undercooked."

Cons: "We are stuck at the airport because Ethiopian Airlines sent out false and miseading update stating that it’s flight was leaving at 6 PM as opposed to the scheduled 7:30 AM. Because of that no one showed up for the flight and there are no direct flights tomorrow that they would put us on! My father recently had a heart attack and this is causing him immense suffering! Additionally patient with emergencies are waiting to see my husband tomorrow and Tuesday but will not be able to because he stuck at the airport! They are refusing to put us on an airline us direct flight tomorrow! Also we have spent at least seven hours on the phone and misleading (and that’s to put it kindly) statements have been told."

Bathroom out of toilet paper and at the end of the flight there was SO MUCH TRASH AND STUFF EVERYWHERE it looked like the ground at an outside 3 day concert. I’ve never seen such a filthy plane. And the food needs improvement."

Also, on flights longer than three hours, they should use a plane with more entertainment (bigger plane). It was cramped and uncomfortable both legs."

We had a 10 Hour connection at Addis Ababba, and we were provided with a city tour at the first time, and hotel at the second. I liked the Injira :)"
Cons: "Overall, it's kinda depressing to fly with Ethiopian, the whole experience, from the colors of the uniforms, to the big African people, there was not enough room to seat next to other person, we and some people we met on the flight experienced the same thing. Addis Ababba was very not welcoming, we had a small tour at the city, the people are aggressive, we heard a lot of "farengie" all the time - "foreigners", everything was very expensive, because tourist have a lot of money... they are not afraid to touch you, even at the face. if somebody offers you guiding, they will ask for money later on and will take you to expensive places."
