Cons: "Even though the same plane was used, the Cuban authorities asked passengers bound to Caracas to deboard the plane, pass to transit, to have us waiting an hour to re board. Boarding was a complete chaos. We were not handed headsets, so could not listen to inflight entertainment. Food was not good"

Pros: "Turkish Airlines offers an experience much better than your average two-hour plane hop in the U.S. There was a full meal served, staff were kind and didn’t try to sell a bunch of extra stuff to you, and there were many choices for in-flight entertainment."
Cons: "Unfortunately, the children on the plane were really poorly behaved and loud. In addition, the flight was delayed by 1 full hour and when we arrived in Vienna our luggage (and the luggage of many other passengers) had not been sent with us. We waited in line for luggage for 30 minutes, then another line for at least 30 more minutes to report the missing bag, and we were then told that it wouldn’t arrive for another day and would be delivered to us within a 3 hour window in the middle of the day. This was essentially an entire night and day lost to a mishap that the airline didn’t even notify us of when we landed. Pretty frustrating."

Cons: "Boarding process chaotic due to conflicting flow of movement in the aisle. People don't like to step aside to let others pass. Additionally some of carry on luggage was oversized and should have been checked into the cargo hold. When flight landed in Nouakchott an announcement should have been made so that the Dakar passengers allowed the NKC ones to deplane, AND the NKC passengers should have been advised to have their boarding passes out for inspection. This caused a backlog in the jetbridge. AND no announcement regarding local time."

Cons: "The boarding staff is incompetent resulting in a 2+ hour boarding time. No control or concern for boarding zones, multiple unnecessary and inconsistent ticket checks, and unclear process. If you took 300 toddlers, made 50 of them gate agents and said board an airplane, you would get about the same result. Food and crew in flight were mediocre. Entertainment system in the seat back doesn’t work, shuts off in the middle of films, and is for some reason controlled by the wrong arm rest. I was in the aisle seat, my arm rest control panel did not control anything, but every time my neighbor shifted her arm it changed the volume on my system. Ethiopian airlines is what failure looks like."

The team of flight attendants assigned to Economy class were very attentive. They assisted my disabled husband with the use of an aisle chair so that he could go to the bathroom. They were respectful and patient with him when it took awhile for him to finish. After the flight we went to the ER and he had a bladder infection.
Staff are attentive, pleasant and responsive. Food was wonderful. Wish that we didn’t have to board buses to get to the plane in Rome but went smoothly. Flight was very smooth but ITA can’t control weather. Left late but got there almost on time. Great flight.
A lot of things could have been better. They lost our luggage. We missed our connection from YVR to Naples when we arrived in Zurich and then we got re-routed to Rome and then Naples. We eventually got to Naples but our bags didn’t. Our experience at the lost luggage in the Naples was not at all reassuring. They didn’t seem that interested in our problem. I did a live chat with Swiss customer service and all they could do is tell me to follow the process. Meanwhile we’ve had to spend significant money on clothes and I have to replace medications. This has meant our trip so far has been totally different than what we had planned. It’s not clear that our baggage will ever show up which means we will have lost significant amount of clothing and other things and our two month trip to Europe will have more problems than good memories. So far we are not happy.
Not a very modern plane with no entertainment and a sandwich and juice served on board.
the customs line was total chaos. staff were exceptionally rude. was almost late for flight because I was directed to two different lines. once I finally got on the plane it was great. Great choice of movies and games. Staff was nice. the food could be better but I'm happy I was fed. exiting was easy.
Terrible. Flight was cancelled with less than 10 hours notice. They added an extra flight to the itinerary and separated our weats which I specifically had already paid to have together.
Flight was missed due to delayed departure from Rome Luggage lost on Rome.
Missed connecting flight because flight out of Rome was delayed. Had to rent car to final destination. Luggage was lost from Rome. Delta is blaming Ita Airlines and Ita Airlines is blaming. And as of right know neither airline wants to be responsible for our luggage or refund or missed flight. Will not book trips through third party companies such as Kayak again.
Terrible service, uninterested employees, inefficient boarding process, and marginal set up on plane. Staff make the airline - good luck with this one.
