I would rate my experience this time as poor. My baggage got lost and when I tried to contact Customer Service they were keep telling me to call international numbers (Dubai and India). Submit my request over email and this is taking forever for them to respond back. My trip was for 25 days where I end up doing new shopping for myself. So far there is no response and no idea if they are going to send me my compensation as I lost all my new clothing and gifts what I bought from US for my relatives. Worst experience this time what I was never expecting from Etihad.
Ticket cancelled by airline 3 hours before departure
I guess because it was a short distance we get into small unit but the seats were very uncomfortable, but an overall experience I will say that with make it some improvement to the seats and give them a little more of space it will make a difference
Fare difference was really bad almost double than my regular fare never fly again
I had to change my schedule due to my dad's health situation. Etihad is not able to arrange the schedule that I need.

Cons: "Boarding was a chaos at the Abu Dhabi airport, they were just calling out for the Business Class and passengers who are disabled and those who are travelling with children to board first when everybody came to line up. Nobody from the ground staff even asked them to give way for those who are boarding first or announced what zone are they boarding next. Also, i used the mobile app to check in, i am definitely sure i chose an isle seat (you can see it on the seat map during online check in) but i was surprised to see that i got a window seat."
Cons: "The carry-on size allowance is way too small and the staff was adamant and said pay $300 (Reason: the suitcase wheels wouldn't go inside the measuring crate) Ended up buying a backpack. I have used the same bag for traveling from india on etihad. Decided never to use etihad for travel."

Pros: "I had the opportunity of flying The Apartment from Abu Dhabi to JFK. It was one of the most incredible first class cabin experiences ever. The experience starts when boarding the aircraft and you are personally escorted to your seat and introduced to the several features around you. The space is ample and the cabin has some privacy doors making it feel very exclusive. There is a large couch across the seat which later is converted into a bed. I was offered pijamas and a small closet to hang my clothes right before take off. Once on the air our personal chef introduced himself and explained the different dishes from the menu. I was able to try the steak and the lamb biryani; both were superb. The IES provided a decent selection of western and some middle eastern films as well as a few live news channels. After I woke up our flight attendant explained the on board shower which is also a distinctive feature allowing to feel refreshed before landing. I had another meal before landing which included an appetizer, and entree and a dessert made with roses. The crew was nothing but fantastic and I would love to fly with them again."
