Once we had the car, everything was fine. The process to get the car was frustrating. It wasn't available when we arrived so the agent tried to sneak us into a compact size car not a standard size car. When I questioned that, it was like I was the one with the problem. So then we had to wait to have a standard size car cleaned. Didn't seem like there was any urgency to try and help us to get us out of there.Reviewed 2024 Apr 22

Cons:Car not clean, old, tires worn, front fender held on by screws had to push back in place after hitting bumps. Was extended here due to storm in the North East US. They wanted to charge an additional $125/day. Close to the cost of one week rental. I asked if I could return and re-rent fo 2 days at dado rate they for 256 I could. Returned and rented fro ANDY’S for daily rate of 39$Reviewed 2018 Mar 14

Pros:When fan belt failed, they brought me a replacement within 3 hours. (Although Spare tire in replacement had zero pressure!). Quick drop off Saturday morning.Cons:Waited over one hour to get car (long line/slow process).Both cars old (43K and 50K+miles).Had to press Brake pedal almost to floor to stop on first car. Solid, Polite, Fast ServicePros:The office was pretty much deserted when I picked up and dropped off, so I had their full attention. That said, very polite and pleasant, a near-new minivan that was very comfortable for four adults plus gear. I would definitely recommend.Reviewed 2017 Apr 09

Pros:nothingCons:slow check in, beyond island slow. tried to pawn a 10 year old ford bronco on me instead of an SUV Tuscon or other as promised. Had to go back to swap car when another rental was returned. Haven't had a great experience in CI with a car rental place yet. Cayman car rentalPros:Car worked fine and the return was very quick indeed. No real hard sell for insurance at pickup which is very expensive on Grand Cayman. Got Insurance ahead of time through credit card and outside option..Cons:Car mildly dirty upon pickup (very stained seats) and office very slow on the pickup in filling out forms and getting the process complete for us and others so we could get on to vacation.Reviewed 2017 Mar 26

Very poor customer servicePros:The vehicle was adequate for our needs, albeit a bit worn on the inside and scratched on the outside.Cons:Service was quite poor, which is typical with my experience with both Budget and car rentals on islands. Rather than a warm welcome, the agent at the counter was abrasive and rude. He certainly made us feel like he would rather be anywhere else, and he seemed to take pleasure in being particularly difficult. A pity. He could have served as an ambassador for the brand and the island, and he could have made us feel welcome and excited to start our visit. Instead, he was the only blemish in our otherwise beautiful vacation.Reviewed 2017 Mar 12
