No rental car was available at our pickup time. The attendant when we arrived was rude, repeatedly left the counter without explanation, and offered no compensation to get us to our hotel for the night, requiring us to get an Uber at our own expense. All this being said, the attendant when we did finally pick up the car the following day was very helpful, courteous, and accommodating of the situation.Reviewed 2026 Jan 24

The attendant at Burlington knew I was dropping off the vehicle in Paramus NJ, but tried to give me an EV with very little range, which would not have made the trip. I got her to give me a different vehicle, but she gave me a Mustang with rear wheel drive and not great tires. Unfortunately it snowed the that night and I almost could not make it out of Burlington because the roads were not plowed. Luckily it did not snow further south and I was able to make the trip. Rear wheel drive in Vermont in the Winter is never a good idea. Had I known it was so bad in the snow, I probably would have requested a different vehicle. Luckily I am a very experienced driver and was able adapt and navigate the slick roads without incident. However, the person at the drop off in NJ was great. He was very understanding and helpful. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. The wait was over two hours. The line was infinite. Thankfully my two year old behaved and patiently waited. I had to wait 2 hours for my rental car because they had none. Even though a reservation means you reserve the car and it’s there at the slotted time. I felt bad for the people running the counter because they were being yelled at by many others. But I quickly lost sympathy when they finally had a car, rushed Nd manipulated me with the insurance and gave me a Canadian car that had a KM dash. Never again.Reviewed 2023 Sept 24
