The car itself was ok.Cons:
Budget lives off by confusing the customer and then charging extra for any mistakes made by lack of information. The insurance they sell is mandatory in some countries (atleast was in Israel) and doesnt really cover much. I had a full rental insurance bought from a 3rd party insurance and still had to pay for the shitty budget insurance that increased the rental cost by 3x. First they try to lure you in with the cheap car prices and then drain you dry with small (or large) extra costs when you are already committed and have no other choice.2.0 Poor

Pros:
The e-mail we received prior did say that they could be a deposit held as a security guarantee. But nothing about the amount. Not in the email, not on the home page. When i arrived, they said that they need to hold 900 dollars as security guarantee. Obviously not everyone has 900 dollars on their account, if they are using budget car rentals it probably means that they are on limited budget. So in two hours i managed to get back to my hotel and get the 900 dollars to my account from a relative. But they still did not accept my card. I called my bank, spent 18 dollars talking to them and they said that my credit card should be fine and if it is not accepted than it should be Budget error not my banks. But still nothing. Ended up leaving to a car rental companu on the nex corner - best car rental. Only 360 dollars as security guarantee and accepted my card. So yes, very very very poor service.2.0 Poor

Very small letters in kayak.com led to a bill growing from 150$ to .... 400$ !!! Then long wait at pickup. Return location on other place then pickup. Shuttle was needed. Front windshield wipers were not working. Replaced after 3 days driving blind in rain. Just to find out the rear windshield wipers were totally missing... Gave up on trying to get it fixed. On return - long long wait for car check. If you made a mistake and already booked - Make sure you take pictures of the car in pickup and return, or you will be treated as criminal...2.0 Poor

Cons:
When we arrived the reservation was at the airport location even though the email we received had the city location. Local Budget office would not fix it. Offered only an SUV at a $350 extra charge. Went across the street to Avis and they were great.2.0 Poor
