Cons:Found old groceries in the van... which is not the vehicle we rented. Stood with my family for 45 minutes waiting for them to find something and they brought out a van and said this or wait. Not sure how it was cleaned when there was a bag of food under the seat. Oh well. Won’t do it again.Reviewed 2021 Jan 06

Pros:The staff at New Orleans was extremely helpful and made the process of picking up the vehicle very easy.Cons:The vehicle was a new large suv that did not have any of the current safety systems and it did not have the XM radio turned on? For that rental price I would have thought that they would have included those items? Maybe next time?Reviewed 2021 Jan 05

Pros:Pick up and drop off were easy.Cons:I got an economy car and it was definitely economy. There were stains on the fabric seats and I couldn't figure out how to hook up my phone to the bluetooth. It might have been an extra cost. But the car rental was inexpensive and it was easy-in and easy-out. This is probably more of a problem for the airport, but I had a friend drop me off and we drove into the parking garage. There is not good signage about visitor parking.Reviewed 2020 Feb 16

Pros:Drop off was super easy, and staff were friendly. We also got a free upgrade, so that was nice.Cons:Pick up was so difficult! We weren’t coming from the airport so we had to Lyft to the office. But there’s no easy way to get there unless you’re coming from the airport. So we had to walk, in the heat & humidity, with my friend being 7 months pregnant, to find it, it was not great.Reviewed 2019 May 27

Pros:I told the agent I didn’t want the insurance and he tried to charge me $700.00 for insurance and after discussion I had with him I still got charged 2p1.00 for insurance that I did not need or want. I will not rent another can from thrifty again. In fact my return flight was canceled and I rented another car but I rendered from National. I was told what I would be charged and that is exactly what I was charged. At thrifty I was told my total price was $501 and was charged $713.36Reviewed 2018 Oct 10
