Cons:
The rental was not at the airport - it was located in downtown. That is the only reason it was cheaper. I did not rent the car because I was going to downtown - so I took a cab. I suspect the location was given but I think you need to make more of an effort to disclose that the rentals are not located at the airport. BIG LETTERS IN RED would be helpful to inform people that they need to take a cab ride to pick up their rental.9.6 Wonderful

Pros:
Total bait and switch. Scammers pretend they have vehicles in stock by using the slc airport stock so you have to wait 3 hours for them to bring the vehicle from the airport which is only 20min away. Then they force upgrades on you at your expense and double charge for insurance! Total scam!! Avoid at all costs!!!8.0 Very good

Pros:
It was a nice truck but getting an extension to the full week was impossible I am on my way back with the vehicle now and I feel I was very overcharged I have tried to call thim for two days and the res numbers do not match up .. they can’t even find the truck over the phone It looks like they’re gonna charge me about $600 for one week and on the paper it says 249 for one weekCons:

At pick-up was told they did mot have my car. Tried to make me tske a csr that was ro small for our luggage to fit. A big hour long hastle. In the end they magically were able to give me the correct size car, which I had purposely reserved months in advance. Dont appreciate being lied yo snd wasting my time.10.0 Wonderful

Cons:
I got a rental with crumbs in the cup holder, a face mask between the seat and console, 3 gallons of gas, and a tire with low pressure. I filled the tire with air when I got gas. Later on my trip the tire went flat, had to get road side assistance. Was told I could swap out my car since it was on the donut but apparently I had to do the work myself to find a location that had an available car to do that. There were none available. Eventually an Enterprise associate told me I could take it to Firestone. So I had to waste my time getting their car fixed.10.0 Wonderful

They charged me 312.00 MORE. Told me it wa a deposit? Told me they didn’t have the car that I wanted but gave me additional. Did NOt tell me I would be charged. Clearly BAIT and SWITCH. I will never do kayak or ez car again10.0 Wonderful

I am not sure why I was charge an extra $35 over the price $75 I prepaid for two days at $25/day. I did not notice it was a "shuttle" service to pick up the car and it took a while to find the pick up spot. No fun since they did not answer phone.7.6 Good

Pros:
I have to say I was very concerned after paying for the car months before we left on our trip, I didn't check the reviews (could have been a disaster). I read the reviews and the reviews were horrible. 2 out of 10 had a good experience. I tried to cancel our reservation because I was that concerned I had made a big mistake. I couldn't cancel the reservation because it was already paid for. I read about the filthy, dented cars, break downs and rude employees. We didn't have any of that. We did have a crack in the windshield but everything was recorded by an attendant. Our vehicle was clean and no issues with it's mechanics.Cons:
We did get additional charges at pick up - wasn't sure what that was all about. I thought everything was paid for. So that was a surprise. That is what drove our rating down. If that hadn't happen I would have given excellent2.0 Poor

Pros:
Flt was late. They would not stay open a hour later. They did not answer the phone the next day, it was during the winter storm in San Antonio Texas so as assumed they were closed along with everything else. The Following day after we booked another car as we were walking by they told us it was not canceled so we took that car but at this time we still had to pay for two carsCons:

I arrived to pick up my car at noon and was told they didn't have any. I prepaid by the way. By 6:30 that night, I had still not received ANY information about getting a car and NEVER received a call back from anyone at Hertz. I called multiple times trying to get updates. One agent in the Salt Lake City downtown facility "PROMISED" to call me in 15 minutes. He did not. I called him about 15 minutes past the deadline and received a recording that the office was closed for the day. Now I have to go through the process to get a refund. I will never rent through them again, and have told all my friends this horror story!4.8 Mediocre

I was booking a car rental at SLC airport. When i went to pick up my car (on a tight schedule) i was informed that my car was at a different location 20 minutes away. Then i had to pay for an Uber to get to the location since there was no shuttle. The Hertz rep at the airport told me that i could change the return location and bring the car back to the airport for a $5 fee. When i went to do that, they charged me $30 extra. My $40 decently priced car rental, wound up costing me $100 and cost me an extra hour and half in waiting. Total nightmare as i had something very important i was scheduled to attend. Was an hour late. I will never book a car rental again through a third party site.4.8 Mediocre

We could not find where to return car. We called the address during business hours and it went right to voicemail. We had to ask a valet and they directed us down 4 levels of a parking garage. Again, once there no indication of where to leave car. We parked it, took elevator to Marriott lobby and found the hertz office, closed and locked at 930 in the morning. We left keys in a lock box and still have no idea if the car was ever found. I better not see any extra charges on my bill as the car was back on time. All in all, a total nightmare and 3 hours of my time plus a $6 charge to park my friends car so he could help me find hertz in Salt Lake CityEconomy Rent a Car
