There is NO HERTZ RENTAL AT THE LUBBOCK AIRPORT! Please do not list Hertz as an option. I had to cancel my Hertz reservation and rent from National. There are several other car rentals at the Lubbock Airport, but NOT HERTZ.Reviewed 2022 Oct 30

When I came to dropoff the car, the lights were on, the door said "OPEN, PLEASE COME IN". Yet the door was locked. I waited for 30 minutes for someone to come by, and nothing. I tried calling a phone number, but just got the robot voice menu. I eventually gave up and used the dropbox, but I had no idea if that was allowed (because I was after hours). Pros:Nothing.Cons:When I arrived at the rental agency I was told my reservation was a computer glitch. They said my reservation was real, but it was created in error. So, needless to say, I was without any transportation for my trip. I will not be making any reservations of this style in the future.Reviewed 2021 Apr 11

Didn't get what I asked for...Pros:There was no line at the window.Cons:Hertz did not have the vehicle that I reserved, nor did they have the gps unit I requested. He did not tell me that the one he was trying to give me didn't have one until we were almost done and I asked.Reviewed 2017 Mar 11

POSPros:The car made it across the state with me in one piece. The drop off was quick and painless and not a half mile walk up or down a hill.Cons:I USUALLY get the car in the ad or in this case KAYAK, which would have been a Nissan Versa, which I am familiar with. I think, because this was a one way rental, they gave me their POS car that they wanted to get rid of. The seat was so high my line of vision was just below the top of the windshield and I hit my head several times getting in and out of the car. It was not comfortable, it was loud on the highway and there was no cruise control (which I anticipated, but hoped there would be). When I asked for the Versa, before finding all this other out, I was told I would have to upgrade, there were no Versas available. I wish I had. Due to time restraints I couldn't go back after getting in the car and change it.Reviewed 2016 Sep 18
