Pros: Drop off was quick and easy.
Cons: The place was hard to find! It was behind a strip mall with no signage on the street. The inside of the car could have been cleaner especially during Covid. We had to wipe everything down with sanitizing wipes before our trip.
Cons: Booked online during travel. Got confirmation. Then called to confirm location was at airport. Reached destination airport to be told wrong location... AND NO CAR at any location because they called me and because I didn’t answer res was cancelled. I’m flying... that’s why I needed a rental car?!?!?!!! Agents at desk just did not care at all. Will never use the brand again ever!!!!!!
Pros: Upon returning car, I expressed to clerk, Taylor, that front bumper was scratched when I initially picked up car. Taylor stated that wouldn’t be an issue since I initially picked up car in that condition.
Cons: Receive phone call regarding scratched front bumper and I had to take the time to write an email and re-explain condition of car at time of pickup, along with pictures. Poor communication between the two Hertz car company. Customer service should have handled this situation. Hoping to soon be informed of the confirmation of my email.

Pros: The fourth person I finally got to help me receive my money why back
Cons: The fact that I made a reservation. They called me to cancel it. Told me I would not be charged. Charged me fully then only gave half of my money back due to cancellation ! ( which they did due to lack of cars) then took me a week to receive the rest of my money.
Cons: Never got the car. You cancelled my reservation. Worst service ever.
Cons: I got a reservation through Kayak only to find out an hour before I was to pick up the car, that they didn’t have any. So that was awesome!
Hertz called me 30min before my reservation and cancelled on me.

Pros: The car was clean and in good working condition.
Cons: They did not have a vehicle available in the class I reserved, so I paid for an intermediate car and only got an economy/compact car. They comped my gas, but I didn't even get any notice so I could choose a different company that had the car I wanted. When I made the reservation, it said something about "checking availability" when I picked the class of car I wanted, so one would assume that meant the company only rents what it knows it will have at the scheduled pickup time.
Cons: When I booked this rental, it was for the Springfield airport pickup and drop off but when I got there, it wasn't and I had to go to town to get it and then pay an additional $5 to drop off at the airport when I left. Talk about a waste of my vacation time!!!
Pros: The pick up and drop off was fast and friendly. The car did great. Was overall a great and easy experience. I recommend Hertz when renting a car!!
Pros: The car was great - very comfortable. The desk agent was knowledgeable and prompt.
Cons: We had rented a car the prior week and had to switch cars for the second week rental so that the second vehicle could be transported to Michigan to be sold. It would have been ideal - and less hassle of moving luggage - to keep the original car (which also had Michigan plates), but both vehicles were comfortable and met our needs.
Fast Friendly Affordable
Pros: Employees were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our car was ready but we opted for an upgrade. It only took about 15 min to get it ready. Great vehicle with great mileage. Very pleasant experience all around.
Cons: A little tricky to find the office. Tucked behind another business with no sign on the main road. The employees explained the city wouldn't allow any more signs. Call for specific directions and you'll be fine.
