All in all, we were impressed with the front desk service we received from Hertz. I am not as impressed with the telephone CS we received. We made the mistake of assuming that Hertz, like the other three car rental agencies we've dealt with, wouldn't charge for additional drivers. And I feel like this should have been plainer up front. When I learned that joining Hertz Gold-Plus Rewards would have saved us that fee, I enrolled in it and then attempted to add the existing rental to the membership. But it didn't work. I then reached out via phone to see if there as a workaround. There was not, according to the CSA I spoke with and I was stuck with what I had. However, when we went to the agency to pick up the car, and I set about adding my husband to the contract, the customer service agent there, happily added the rental to the membership and we were able to rent that car without further fees. Also, for the first time ever, we damaged a rental car. It was relatively minor (damaged bumper), but because we'd added the Loss-Damage-Waver, we weren't on the hook for any of the repairs. This was a huge relief. The vehicle was great--very comfortable and met our needs beautifully. Very satisfied with this.Reviewed 2023 Aug 10

Everything was great, car was ready, quick check out. My only issue is with the way the car insurance was handled. I paid an amount through Kayak which I found out was through a third party, which if I had an accident I would have been responsible to pay for the repairs and then would have been reimbursed through the third party. I'm sure this was disclosed in the fine print, but seems manipulative. I ended up paying an additional amount through Hertz directly, which would cover all repairs had there been damage or an accident.Reviewed 2021 Dec 30

There were no vans on site when I arrive, the agent with National\Alamo inform my Enterprise agent that she had just gotten a van in. The van was washed and given to me. This was excellent merging of the three rental companies.Reviewed 2021 Oct 12

It was very convenient to have the cars available just outside the terminal, no shuttle busses, etc. I was surprised at the high mileage, over 50,000, but didnt have any operational problems. The van was very clean and comfortable for 5 people plus our luggage.Reviewed 2021 Sep 17

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEPros:NOTHING!Cons:Booked online during travel. Got confirmation. Then called to confirm location was at airport. Reached destination airport to be told wrong location... AND NO CAR at any location because they called me and because I didn’t answer res was cancelled. I’m flying... that’s why I needed a rental car?!?!?!!! Agents at desk just did not care at all. Altima conditionPros:Upon returning car, I expressed to clerk, Taylor, that front bumper was scratched when I initially picked up car. Taylor stated that wouldn’t be an issue since I initially picked up car in that condition.Cons:Receive phone call regarding scratched front bumper and I had to take the time to write an email and re-explain condition of car at time of pickup, along with pictures.
