Their online check-in system is badly broken; took about 20 tries before it worked, including some attempts that took 10+ minutes of wait (which failed). The vehicles reeked of cigarette smoke (if was nauseating) but I was not warned at all that the vehicle was a smoking vehicle. Again and I again I find my experience with Hertz just frustrating overall. I would not recommend it to anyone.Reviewed 2024 Mar 30

Never had the rental. There was no one at the counter to give me the car that I had already paid for. Hertz took my money and abandoned me.Reviewed 2022 Jan 03

Pros:The online rental experience was excellent.Cons:I was helped within 5 minutes of arrival. It took 1 1/2 hours to pick up the rental. The rental car was not at the location and they did not share this information with me. If they would have told the truth, I could have been much more understanding.Reviewed 2021 Apr 29

Pros:Friendly and helpful staff a Hertz location at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport.Cons:This car rental was similar to two other car rentals I have experienced in Wichita during the past two months. Enterprise, Avis and Hertz all promised a minivan or large suv. Enterprise cancelled on me one day before I needed the rental, telling me two renters had not returned vehicles. Avis and Hertz only had smaller capacity vehicles available. It seems there exists a bait-and-switch approach to car rentals in Wichita, Kansas.Reviewed 2021 Apr 29

Pros:Yes the staff were nice.Cons:The car was pretty dirty and if I understood correctly it is because they wash it offsite and they didn't have a way to clean after it got dirty in the rain. There was no windshield wiper fluid which was not a good deal when I got into some snow and rain. The car drove fantastic even though it had close to 50,000 miles.Reviewed 2021 Jan 22
