Cons: "The food abs the service provided by iberia representatives at the counters at the airport"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Crew wouldn't let me board because a ticket from Spain to France was not sufficient evidence I would leave Europe. So I bought one from Italy to Singapore and they didn't accept that either. I lost over 1,000 dollars."
Cons: "They lost my bag and I still haven't heard from them"
Pros: "Flying these days is as bad as it gets. We made it, that is what I liked."
Cons: "Had bought a ticket that allowed me to check in a suitcase and to chose my seat. The choosing part does not happen as Iberia chooses for you the day before the flight and tells you you can change what they chose but for a price. Seems deceiving. Flight attendant on flight was rude to me and others."
Pros: "It was cheap"
Cons: "Flight was late, boarding and unloading was slow so I missed my connection to LA."
Pros: "Iberia cancelled my incoming flight to Madrid and put me on an earlier one, but refused to let me on the earlier flight to Bilboa, which made a long waiting time!"
Pros: "Seats we re super comfortable, better than BA or Swiss for example. Food and drink excellent, gain better than Swiss or Ba, not to say US carriers who are on a league of their own (worse). Flight arrived early."
Cons: "A bit more space for placing magazines etc would be welcome"
Pros: "To check in took so long . I could have used the automated check in but my code was not recognised. Travelling as a couple we were given separate seats .The staff did not even see fit to even tell us.Poor meals. the cabin crew looked harassed."
Cons: "Send emails reminders to offer web check in."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Very small plane, so much turbulence during flight. It was the worst."
Pros: "Loved the staff. As far as my experience flying Iberia for the first time is concerned, the the staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was not bad either as it was pretty good and included many beverage options. Would like to see how they do for flights lasting longer than 8 hours. Mine was only about 5 and a half hours from Madrid to Tel Aviv."
Best responsive crew ever Miri has been amazing to take care of my special unfortunate needs with efficiency and kindness Her and El Al team are 👍👍👏 And all the young persons in the El Al team were top notch and with everybody Great experience , no hesitation to book a El Al flight and the Dreamliner is really a dream of comfort and modernity
Only way to fly to Tel Aviv is nonstop on the Dreamliner.
Pros: "I’ve upgraded my ticket to business .very comfortable and good service"
Cons: "Time of departure.we had to wait in the airplane for 50 minutes due to busy traffic in the aire . Coming to Israel we’ve waited at least 30 min till the baggage started to come out"
Pros: "The crew was courteous and pleasant. Boarding was quick. Airplane was clean. Blankets were warm. Food was good."
Cons: "Aircraft old so entertainment was not on the individual seat. Seats were hard and didn’t recline too much. Leg room was decent. Check in was horrible. 45 minute line."
Pros: "Upgraded to business-quantum difference from economy!!! Won’t ever fly economy with El Al but will in business class"
Cons: "All good"
Pros: "The crew was OK, food OK."
Cons: "Very old aircraft, no TV screen. The company change my seat even I order my seats weeks ago."
Pros: "Nothing except that it got me safely to my destination"
Cons: "Food was terrible and there was a long human hair in my beef. Entertainment was one thing only, and it was in Hebrew with Hebrew subtitles. Bathroom was out of TP, not very clean. Crew was abrupt and service was very limited, with one having to walk to the galley for coffee or tea after the meal."
Pros: "I had a good experience purchasing my El Al ticket through Kayak. I was able to select my seat--exit row seats at no extra cost! (although the ticket was admittedly expensive). El Al itself was fine. Service was fine. Food was fine for airplane food. (The bread was actually good, much better than the food on America airlines in general). El Al is known for their tight security and we certainly experienced that. However, I found myself NOT annoyed by it. Because I and my traveling partner were not Jewish or Israeli, we were singled out and interrogated with extra questions. This doesn't sound good but it meant we didn't have to wait in the regular line and kind of got the VIP treatment. We were treated very nicely. Someone went out of their way to get us a seat while we waited for them to inspect the dust particle samples on our wallet and shoes. TSA makes my blood boil but the security through El Al was somehow a pleasant experience. Overall, I was satisfied."
Cons: "The seats were a little narrow. Unlike other reviewers, I did not find the crew particularly friendly."
Cons: "High cost, no seat allocation at check, extra money for a small beg"
Pros: "Clean airport and airline. I was on the new Dreamliner. Book business you don’t want to be in the back."
Cons: "For obvious reasons security is tight. However, they do not warn you sufficiently about the screening and security process. It took 2 hours alone to get through security and it was a light crowd. I can only imagine if it was packed or during major EU or Israeli holiday. They try to move people fast but security folks are all very young so they require a lot of supervision and need oversight so they stop and go for questions with trained team members."
