A day after I perches a multi destination tickets I called Swiss air costumer service requesting to upgrade my tickets to business class. no one would even try to help me. They just kept saying I need to contact my travel agent. After 3 phone calls I gave up and decided to wait and upgrade my ticket at the airport. 2. In Prague the night before my second flight I hurt my knee real bad to a point that I couldn't walk at all. The next morning I call Swiss air costumer service again trying to explain them my situation telling them I can't fly and won't be able to make it to my flight. Costumer service cancelled immediately all of my remaining tickets and try to sell me new tickets for a full price. I said I don't mind buy and pay for the one flight I missed but there is no reason for her to re sell me the rest of my tickets that I already paid for, again. Then she start to change prices up and down like in a Chinese flea market. At that point I begged her to talk to a supervisor but she Kept ignoring my request and just try to negotiat for a lower charg she kept me on the phone for 5 hours. My hotel phone bill for that one call cost me 150€. I never got to talk to a supervisor but she took down the charge to 517$ Not included a new ticket flying out of Prague. 3. For my last flight going home. I showed up 2.5 hours Earlier. asking to upgrade my sit to business fin desk send me to talk to asupervisor. The supervisor was trying to process my request but didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. One minute he was on his computer then the next minute on the phone with Swiss air headquarter then back on his computer for more then 35 minutes with no resolute. I still had an hour and half before take off when he told me he can print me the ticket but it's to late now since the gate for my flight is close and I already missed my flight. I said that's impossible cause I still have an hour and half to my flight but he insist on the gate been close and there is no way I can get on that flight. Right away I run back to front desk asking them to print my ticket as fast as possible cause I would really like to get on that flight. In front desk they told me not to worry cause I got plenty of time to get on that flight. So I gave up on the business upgrade and told them that at that point I'll be just as happy to sit by the window. Of course they put me on the very end exactly in the middle. After the door was locked I looked around and saw plenty of free sits available including by the window. 4. In Zurich I finally managed to upgrade my last flight coming back to Tampa fl to business and noticed that the only way they could do that was by contacting Swiss air headquarter for approval. When I asked why is that since I fly a lot and never seen anything like that before one of the lady's there told how Swiss air left all of their front desk powerless and all decisions must be made by headquarters."

There were screaming little kids placed all over economy with parents that did nothing about their high pitched screaming and I do mean screaming and screeching as a form of communication. There was only one much younger child that was in real distress and the Mom and Dad walked up and down the aisles trying to comfort that child and not disturb others passengers. The rows of seats were so close together that when the person in front of me reclined, I could not. get up from my seat and it was on the aisle! The young man sitting next to me just stood on the seat to climb out. We could have made an earlier flight, but the manger of the reservation desk in Tel Aviv was too lazy to check to see if we could switch to the earlier flight was easily make able with lots of seats, but I couldn't do it on line and she was busy talking to her friends. As a result, we had a 6 hour lay over in Zurich that was unnecessary."

The security in Israel is very intense, so this was a big hassle. Then they only had 3-4 gate agents to rebook all 300+ people on the flight so we waited in like for 3 hours."

Finally, they told me the flight was overbooked and that was why I was waiitng. They offered nothing else--as if I had done something wrong (the impression they gave me), rather than Lufthansa. I waited a full 1 1/2 hours. No other explanation. At the very end, when they finally put me on a flight, they chastised me for not checking in online---this was NEVER offered to me by Lufthansa on my flight there or on the return. With other airlines they always send me an email to check in online ahead of time. Lufthansa did not. I could not have been more disappointed with this checking in experience with Lufthansa. Again, the worst in my life and would be cause for me not to recommend Lufthansa to others. Otherwise, the flight itself and the actual crew were great. So disappointing to have such an unprofessional check in experience."

I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

At 5 feet tall, given the option, I would pass up on the extra leg room and take a reclining seat. This is something that should be made very clear before the flight!"

Cons: "Although Air France sold me a return ticket from Zurich to Edinburgh via Paris CDG both connections in CDG were very tight and needed me to run between terminals. They say you can make it within the 50 min change over but it is really pushing it. One and a half hours would be better. My incoming flight was delayed by 15 mins and the plane parked off stand and we were bused to the terminal. That all left just 20 mins to get from the bus to the departure gate having to clear passport control and security. Ran to the gate with seconds to spare."

Cons: "other than the pilot doing his job, the experience of flying on this flight (operated by Arkia) wasn't up to any basic standards. this began when the boarding started - we were escorted to our busses which was to take us to the plane itself. however there was no bus. apparently the bus was right around the corner but its perfectly aligned stop near the doors was hindered by a truck that took about a third of the spot. so for some reason instead of simply allowing passengers to walk 3 meters, we had to stand in a small inclosed area for about 15 min with no seats for the older people. once we actually boarded it was chaos. people stuffed their luggage in the overheads in such a way that they didn't close, couldn't find their seats and we're stuck in the isle waiting for others to find a place for their luggage. this happens, sure, but there was no staff in sight to assist and instead they were on the microphone telling people to clear the isle and sit down, like we're on a bus... why not have people board the plane in groups and areas? the bus did two rounds of bringing people to the plane anyway, why not do this smartly and devide passengers into boarding groups, for our and the staffs ease? Finally everyone were in their seats and the plane took off. this is a very short flight of 45 min. and I understand it's a low cost company but during almost half of the flight you just hear the staff on the speakers reading out commercials, offering to buy cigarettes and whatever, telling how they have the best prices(!). finally we land, and instead of requesting everybody remain in their seats until the doors open, like the staff does on every single flight I've ever been on in my life, the guy on the mic says some stupid joke. TLDR : the whole flight felt like it was operated and staffed by teenagers, and not the responsible and bright kind. I am very happy we arrived safe because the staff made me doubt the pilots abilities as well. nothing to say about the passengers, they're israeli so anyone who has flown with them know what it feels like. just put your headphones in, it'll be over soon."

Boarding started on time but then on the plane was a disaster. It took an inordinate amount of time to board and get everyone seated. I was sitting the back of the plane and there wasn't enough overhead cabin space for bags since they back areas were filled with other equipment. The seats were horribly uncomfortable - between by legs getting smashed because of non existent leg room and with the chair itself just being awful. The room was so inadequate that the person sitting next to me was basically in my space unintentionally. There was no entertainment for a 4 hour flight which was awful. It was overall one of the worst flying experiences."

Firstly i took a backrow seat hopeing for some more space unfortunately the way the plain was set up there was an obstical behind my chair and i could recline there was no leg room and the seat was dirty i fell asleep and missed all the meals and the screen on my chair was broken so no entertainment. On the flight back i made sure to get a exit seat but i was aganist the window and the bottem of the plane door gave me less room than a normal seat the tray is stowed one the side of the seat and it was in a filthy compartments sorry guys i dont ever want to fly with you guys again 9 hours of this was just to much."

The airline "Prestige operated our flight from Toronto to Tel Aviv. The air plane and the crew were NOT el Al. The airline Prestige had an older aircraft with no TVs, entertainment for kids, the crew was not El Al for an overseas transatlantic flight VERY poor...on the return flight from Tel Aviv the same airline and aircraft operated by Prestige airlines was utilized and this time the ordeal turned into a nightmare. During take off from Tel Aviv as the plane was gaining speed to go into the air one of the tires blew and we almost had a catastrophe on the runway. We were on the runway for 2 hours and then deboarded; waited in TLV airport for 8 hours before taking flight on an actual El Al plane. The point that needs to be made is to verify that you are taking an actual EL Al plane NOT a partner airline....the airplanes on an actual El AL fight are accommodating and offer good service, food and entertainment (which is much needed on a transatlantic flight; especially if traveling with children)."

Cons: "First of all, I had a terrible time checking in with the App - it did not work and so I had to check in at the airport. However, if you don't check in with the check-in kiosks at the airport, you get charged extra. I have an older passport that does not have the capability of scanning at a check-in kiosk. The staff was unapologetic and despite the app and kiosk problems, made me pay to check in. Additionally, I tried to add bags on the app the day before the flight. Because the App wasn't working, it did not record one of the bags I wanted to check and we were forced to pay $70 (twice the online price) for that extra bag despite the fact that it was Up's fault for having a malfunctioning app. I understand this is a budget airline, but I have never had problems like this with EasyJet or Ryanair staff."

Cons: "First, El Al contracted the flight out to Israair so all the boarding passes had to be reprinted. It appears that there was a change of plans also. We boarded the plane 30 minutes after the scheduled departure. Then, we sat on the tarmac for 90 minutes waiting for "permission from Kiev to take off". Never heard of that before! When drinks and snacks were served, the cart never stopped in my row, it just kept going! Lastly, the crew was unable to control the passengers (religious Israeli's going to a religious site in Ukraine). Constant standing in the aisle even when the seatbelt sign was on. Upon touchdown, half of the passengers left their seats and took their luggage from the overhead bins and made a rush for the front door. With the plane sitll rolling on the main runway! A serious safety violation. This really was a flight from hell."
