I was not aware of this rule, and when my reservation was accepted by EasyJet with knowledge of my passport expiration, I should have been alerted. I was even provided the boarding pass several days before the flight so there was no indication that anything was amiss. I was able to enter France by taking a train and had no issues with French immigration. My only problem was with the EasyJet gate crew member who refused to allow me to board."

I informed him that I paid extra when I booked, to which he checked his computer and suddenly apologized informing me that I was correct, his computer was just slow.The boarding took a long time, a line formed all the way to the gate. I am not sure what the hold up was, but it took a slow moving line to finally get on to the plane and then to my seat. They charge for everything, no biscuit, pretzel, peanuts, water, coffee, or tea was complimentary."

We arrived with 2 standard trolleys and before boarding the plane they forced us to send them. It did not help that I explained that in the suitcases there were things we needed for flying, valuables, and fragile objects. The crew member was rude and forced us to pull out our belongings: a laptop, a professional camera with a big lens, two books, two porcelain items we bought and we were afraid to send in the big suitcase, two bottles of drinks and two sandwiches. Passports and wallets. I begged the crewman to let me go with at least one suitcase, but he replied rudely that he did not care !!! There was a lot of room on the plane, in the cells. The crew agreed with me. They tried to help and brought me an orange garbage bag so I could put all my belongings in it ... really humiliating !!!"

Someone threw up it so so hot and packed inside the bus that took us from the gate to the airplane. We were left for more than 30 minutes in this state with the doors shut and the windows largely inoperable. Casually cruel and inhuman. Never fly easy jet again."
Cons: "Arrived at the airport 1 hour 30 min before scheduled flight time. Asked where I could print my ticket and was referred to the check in desk by 2 different employees. After almost an hour on line I was informed they stopped boarding(10 minutes before schedule). I was told to check in in person even though I had already checked in online, and informed both employees of this fact. I was also not informed that only one piece of carry on was permitted as I had brought two. An effort to clarify necessary stipulations and assistance to do so on the part of the Easy Jet employees would HAVE NOT lead to ANOTHER purchased ticket and my current 15hour wait for another plane. Extremely disappointed at the lack of coordination and assistance on behalf of easyjet employees. I was also not offered a discount on the subsequent tickets I was forced to purchase. This will definitelly affect any future bookings I make through kayak and or easyjet."

They say that the fee for baggage depends on the rout of the flight or something like that , so from what I understand it means that the far the destination the more you pay. But my flight took only 4 hours which is not that much. So, practically they can take the maximum fee for any flight since they don't have a logical reason for that , it is practically random. I had to add 83 euros for ONE suitcase , that makes the tickets expensive and not cheap . If I knew that this would be the price I would definitely order other company. I would prefer to know ahead how much I need to add for baggage. But of course they won't tell you."

When I flew with them just 4 days earlier FROM Tel Aviv, I was allowed to board with both a carry on and a hand bag, as I usually do with other international carriers and flights. With the return flight, however, you needed to pay for a service called "speedy board" to allow it. So, at the gate, they've told everyone to squeeze all their belongings into a single carry-on item, regardless of the weight and volume. They wouldn't even allow me to carry my DSLR camera separately, even though international flight regulations regard photography equipment as a separate item you're allowed to board with. After this craziness, all passengers were cramped in a hall between the terminal gate and the boarding gate. We waited there for an hour, and it was hot, humid and dense, with no chairs. Only 5-10 minutes before the scheduled departure, they started boarding passengers on the plane, what caused a 50 minutes delay in the take-off. Bottom line: Poor boarding conditions and vague baggage policy."

If this is Easy Jet's policy, then you are committing a fraud by forcing people to pay extra for those seats. At the very least, you are alienating your higher-paying customers -- I have another flight booked for this month, but do not intend to fly on Easy Jet again.
