I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

They announced this and gave the other passengers the opportunity to walk to an area to watch the very solemn ceremony. It was all done with respect and handled timely. The flight still left as scheduled and arrived on time. Not that this was the most important part. Even if it had caused me to miss my connecting flight, the ceremony for the fallen hero was more important."

Cons: "We could not check in online because we refused to pay for seats that I felt that already purchased or was entitled to one so I bought a ticket. When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"

Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

The staff sat in the back gossiping the entire time and looked offended every time I came to ask a question or ask for something - they would get silent and just sit there, like I was interrupting an important conversation and so I even offered to get my own stuff. Ridiculous! What happened to customer service? The food is HORRIBLE! Worst food I have ever had on a flight, and I flew to 8 countries this last year, so that says a lot. I'd recommend only eating food you bring, or just starving yourself."

Was advised to stay at Toronto since the flight from RDU to Toronto delay excessively with high frequency (and it was delayed 6+ hour the next day). Flied to Toronto, was shuffled through different lines without getting anything. At 10:40PM, after arrived 1 hour 40+ minutes, sent to a line with more than 100 people in front of me..... :-( It's a horrible experience!!!!!!!!!"

I could actually use my notebook on the tray stand. I was traveling on the same plane with my wife but we could only get separate seats. I decided to ask before boarding if they could put us together for such a long flight and they took my boarding pass and actually tried. The lady I checked in with was extremely gracious. She passed our info along to the head attendant on the flight who came and found us and told us she had found seats together. We had already done some seat switching with the kind people around us and managed to get together. The head attendant was happy for us."
Cons: "Long flight, when we got close to Tel Aviv, a guy attendant who wasn't on my side yelled at me from the other ailse and scolded me for not being locked in 30 minutes ahead of time and threatened to write me up. He was red faced. The head flight attendant made a call over the intercom, I jumped up and started stowing my computer and he comes by 30 seconds later and literally yelled across the plane. He must have had to clean a bathroom up that someone let loose in. I looked on the flight time register on the screen when I was locked in and we were 35 minutes out. Not quite a rule breaker was I."

I heard them bickering between themselves throughout the flight, which was very uncomfortable to hear as a passenger. The kosher food was barely edible. The seats were small and uncomfortable. I am under 5'5" and on the small side, and I could barely fit in my seat. I will think twice before flying Air Canada again, and I will tell other people about my experience."

The flight was also delayed over an hour and still listed as an on time boarding for the original boarding time, people can make choices about eating or restroom breaks if they know they have an extra hour, also when travelling with a toddler it helps with planning feedings and naps so that the baby doesn't scream the whole flight."

Cons: "Seating much to dense. Bulkhead seating should be available on need basis only at no extra charge. Food was very mediocre and had a distinct processed flavor and consistency."
