Cons:Unexpected costs from insurance. They told me I didn’t have insurance for the trip right before I was leaving while I was standing in the parking lot. I unded up spending way more than planned and I’m really miffed about it. They didn’t explain how much more it was going to cost before I left. It felt a little bit like they tricked me.Reviewed 2018 Mar 15

Do not usePros:The vehicle was ok, not the cleanest but, the drop off and complimentary shuttle at LAX was excellent.Cons:Make sure you have a paper copy of your insurance or you will get a very hard time. We had no issues when we rented at the LAX location and no issues dropping off there but, the very rude man the Anaheim Avis/Budget rental office almost didn’t let us rent as he was angry we went through kayak and had no wifi for me to show him my insurance document. He was argumentative and down right rude. I will let people know not to rent from this location again. He racked the bill up as high as he could to make a buck!Reviewed 2018 Jan 28

Pros:The agent was able to fix my billing issue with some creative computer work.Cons:Agent had to fix the automatic addition of a fuel charge as I had driven very few miles; however, after I showed my receipt for gas that was purchased down the street, he fixed it. This charge is something that needs to not happen automatically, as other people may be more distracted and end up paying a lot more than they were expecting.Reviewed 2017 Jun 28

horrible experienceCons:- Was given a car with a completely empty tank - Smoke smell was so strong in the car that both my kids threw up - Was charged $90 dollars at arrival (disputing this) while i returned the tank half full (while again, i was given a car with a completely empty tank - Manager at origin (Chris - Anaheim location) was extremely rude during the whole process I will fill a formal complaint and never rent again through BudgetReviewed 2017 Mar 15
