Pros: Why people still do business and why Kayak still has them on its site is a mystery. I rented the car online and DENIED INSURANCE, Payed for it ahead of time (I will never do that again). When I arrived the company would not rent me a car without me purchasing insurance
Cons: for a daily amount in excess of the price for the car itself. When I refused they pointed to their NO REFUND POLICY and said they would consider refunding me $50.I told them they had a contract with me and that they cannot change the details without my agreement. The issue is now in "chargeback".
Cons: They provided no refunds although cancellations was more than two days
Was not given a vehicle although I had pre-paid for one.
Cons: Although the reservation was under my colleague's name, he was unable to receive the car. I had made the pre-payment under my own name, and the car reservation under his name. Economy charged my card for the entire bill, however, when he went to pick up the car, they refused to give it to him. This is completely unacceptable.

Cons: Hello I made a reservation for my stay in Santiago, Dominican Republic. 2 day rental The website suggested that I should take the Allianz Car insurance and so we did. On any of the steps they informed us that we would need to pay extra coverage with the company upon arrival. They didnt accept the coverage I took on the website and we were forced to The policy on for economy car rental on your website says that the mandatory liability insurance was $6.95 to $7.95, they charged us $17.95 Their policy on your website says we had 3 options for insurance coverage from 10.99 to 27.99, they charged us $34.90 per day. We had to take it because if we decided to use only Allianz insurance they would put a hold of $3,200 on our credit card. The first car they gave us had battery failure so they had to change it for a second one.. the second car they gave us had 0 gas, empty, we had to drive 5 min with the empty blinking light, not knowing of the car was going to shut down.. to find a gas station.. After our first evening with the car we parked it at the hotel at midnight, we woke up at 9am and had to be heading to an appointment. The car couldnt start, it couldnt turn on. Battery dead. We had to wait 40min for the problem to be solved. First call to notify the problem was at 10:06, problem was solve at 10:42 The total amount they wanted to charge us for car rental insurance and mandatory liability was: $150.00 So, the website was promoting a prepaid car rental which I took. We paid $46.42 for a two day rental of car + insurance and taxes and the information provided was that we needed to pay only the mandatory liability of $6.95 and local tax (no percentage was informed) upon arrival. It turned out that the mandatory liability was $17.95 in reality and we were forced to pay another insurance coverage. I feel cheated by the website and the rental company.
Cons: the economy shuttle never appeared I wait for 45 minute
Cons: They had me waiting 40 min at airport for pick-up. When he finally came around he mixed up my name and left after I told him I wasn't "Ruben" then he came back around when he called back and noticed he had the reservations mixed up. Secondly I bought and reserved everything online including insurance. So I had 2 insurance policy's, one from my credit card and the additional and only option you can buy online. Once at the counter he was forcing me to buy THEIR insurance for some bogus reason about not being covered for third party which was untrue. The whole wait time and trying to scam me into purchase additional coverage for no reason I decided to go with a different company that gave me a better price while I was waiting for his pickup. Horrible experience, tons of wasted time and not transparent with prices.
No pick up at airport
Pros: Car worked but could have been a little bigger
Cons: No pick up at terminal had to pay $20.00 US dollars to have a cab take me the equivalent of a 1/4 mile and shady as hell. The store was closing even though it was supposed to be open 24 hours and the guy said you should have called

Pros: When we booked our car with economy, there was no mention of the fact that the office was outside of the airport. We went up to the 12 desks of rental cars and asked where the Economy desk was located and one of the reps explained that a rep will meet you outside. We went outside and no one was there, so we went back k. After a couple of calls and another unsuccessful attempt to link up with Economy outside the airport, we decided to go back in and book with another car rental company (as thankfully cars were available). We had to pay over double the price of what we reserved on Economy. Terrible experience!

Cons: - Our shuttle that they claim will be there to pick you up was NOT there - We call them 8 times and not one person can understand us, 9th time they tell us no cars were in the lot at the time - This transaction never happened at all :( Do yourself a favor and rent straight out of the airport. 6 options waiting for you.
Cons: I did not like the fact that I ended up paying double for the rental. The insurance I purchased with my reservation was not accepted by the rent car. I had to call the insurance company to cancel with them and purchase their insurance for $19 per day.

Cons: They did not have any of the car advertised. They push a cheap compact car that is overpriced, they push insurance that is not required. THEY CHARGE $50 fee for reservations not fulfilled. It's a fraudulent establishment. STAY AWAY.
