Long wait, friendly service as they pushed upcharges for the car.Pros:Very friendly and personable, and after an hour wait, for service, the care they delivered was great.Cons:I had verified that I have full collision damage insurance with my credit card and had the policy, but they wouldn't give me a car without a letter or call from the card company. This proved impossible to do on the spot so I had to take the $15 Euro a day for redundant insurance.Reviewed 2018 Jul 10

Cons:Didn’t even take the car. Got to the counter and was told that the actual price was 950 euro as basic insurance was not included in the kayak quote- which I was quoted at 145 euro. Ridiculous misadvertising on kayaks part.Reviewed 2018 Apr 15

Worry-free RentalPros:The car we rented was very comfortable and easy to drive which was fortunate because we did a lot of driving.Cons:The pick-up counter at the airport was very busy when we arrived. The rental staff at this location are very nice and helpfulPros:Ease of picking up the carCons:We were not warned by the staff that we should photograph and document every tiny scratch on the vehicle....including the bumpers! The staff at the Hertz near Shannon Airport will charge you exorbitant amounts for any tiny scratch. We were assessed over $700 for three very short (the largest was less than 2 cm) thin (a couple of millimeters thick maybe) on the front bumper. These were not dents at all, just superficial scratches on a plastic bumper.Reviewed 2017 Jun 13
