I liked how easy it was to book.Cons:
Even though we had a confirmation number for our reservation that National Car rental branch we reserved it at didn't have it in their system and wouldn't honor our reservation. They first told us that had no cars for us. This was after we checkout of our hotel and had a taxi drop us off at the rental site expecting to get in our car. Later they told us they could get us a VW Passat but it was going to be 4x the price we booked so we said no thank you. It was very frustrating. When you receive a confirmation for a reservation you expect them to honor it. I will not be using this service again.2.0 Poor

I arrived an hour later than my scheduled booking. They told me they had already rented my car to someone else. Doesn't matter if you are a Club member, they will treat you like garbage and do it with satisfaction. A la verga National DF!!2.0 Poor

Pick - Up Staff was available.Cons:
1. Drop off Staff was fast but checked the car 3 times to try and find dents or scratches to charge extra for. 2. After driving 1.5 hrs out of the city, the Key FOB started to malfunction and was sporadic in sending the single to start the car or lock/unlock the doors. This was anxiety producing as we were traveling for several days outside of the city. 3. Tire pressure light was on constantly 4. Car felt cheap even though it was a full-size sedan. 5. Car lacked power to merge on/off highways well and could barely make it up steep hills.7.6 Good

Cons:
It took a while to convince the overzealous agent to accept my credit card's CDW. He would just not acquiesce that Mexico City is indeed covered under worldwide CDW. Dropping off was quite hard to find where exactly to drive at the airport because there are no signs anywhere. The car could've had an electronic lock.2.0 Poor

The europcar office in mexico City Reforma 208 was supposed to be open at 9, the guy arrived at 10. Calling the help desk four times as twice not answered, at 9.15 they said the person would arrive in 10 minute. No further answers as the guy did not arrive in 10 minutes. Once he arrived he was surprised that there is a reservation, anyway he said there is no car.4.0 Mediocre

Rental car given to us with an empty tank of gas. The rental car agency forced us to buy an insurance plan when our travel credit card included rental insurance in Mexico. The insurance cost twice as much as the rental car itself.Thrifty

Cons:
Pricing was not transparent- there was a large “mandatory” additional fee for liability insurance, regardless of whether or not you have liability coverage that extends to the rental car. I suspect this coverage is the larger profit center for the company than actually renting the vehicles.2.0 Poor
