Hallways and elevators were cigarette smell free, very nice air filter system unlike other hotels. This is my favorite place to stay whenever I can get a deal from Cosmopoliant.

We were moved from the Palazzo to the Venezia for unclear reasons. The distance between both is almost 1 km The restaurants have too low capacity versus the number of people in the hotel complex. The Valet parking at the Venetian/Venzia was not up to the job, and had TOO LITTLE capacity causing wait times for us, at multiple times for our rental car ... The rooms are getting old.

Pros: I love the location of Southpoint. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of, and there is free parking close by. Check-in was easy and painless. The rooms are clean, large, and quiet. Comfy beds and accommodating staff. I ordered room service breakfast each morning. The meal was supposed to arrive in 40 minutes or less, and actually came within 20 minutes each morning. We ate in three other restaurants while there. Don Vito's was disappointing. Halibut was over cooked and the service was dismal. The other two restaurants were very good and the staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay there again.

We then has an over cooked meal with poor service. We were a table of six middle-aged adults ordering premium cocktails and expensive wine (when we could get someone to serve our table). Our server took our order then disappeared unti it was time to bring the check. Thank goodness we had a wonderful bus boy who brought us our food.

Second time staying here. The rooms are a good size. This time, however, we had issues with a number of lights/switches not working and had to get the in-room tablet replaced. Our area of the our floor was nice and quiet so never had any problems with getting good sleep. Just wish the hotel itself had a few more quick, daytime dining options. It’s very difficult when you are hungry and can’t easily find a place to eat without having to go elsewhere.

Pros: I found everyone I encountered at the Rio to be very friendly and pleasant. The guys in the men's spa were phenomenal. They just couldn't do enough for you. I have never received such tremendous treatment and felt like a celebrity. They truly went above and beyond. The spa experience is absolutely what made my stay exceptional. Thanks guys!
