I never was able to pick up my vehicle. Due to staffing shortages at the check in area I was forced to use a different rental car company. Their line was about 40 clients waiting for vehicles and only to agents working at the desk. This didn’t work for my schedule and I went with another company who got me into a vehicle in about 15 minutes.Reviewed 2022 Jul 18

Pick up was very odd. The lady who was helping to check us in was alternating between rude and falling asleep. Also didn’t ask us any of the questions our neighbors were being asked (ie: would you like ez pass). Moved so as molasses, scolded me after taking my credit card out after legitimately 5 minutes in the machine. Offered us a Yaris but she herself had no idea what that was. I didn't use Thrifty. I used Budget. There was a line of about 10-15 people, almost out the door or the building. When I finally get to the counter I was told they didn't have any cars left, so I would have to wait. After a short period they said they found a car for me. They didn't ask if I wanted insurance. The didn't ask if I wanted to fill the gas, or have them fill for a fee. They didn't ask if I wanted to use the transponder for tolls(which didn't work). They didn't tell me why the charge was $500 instead of $250 for a 2 day rental. I had to ask all those questions. I was given a receipt and told a parking spot number. The vehicle had significant roof damage and some dents/scratches to the front end. They never provided any instructions. They did not tell me I had to open the door on the toll transponder to use it. When I did open it, it didn't work. Budget might as well get rid of all the people they have working and set up a couple kiosks. It would be faster and more informative, as I felt like I was asking all the questions and doing all the work anyway.Reviewed 2021 Aug 08

Pros:The line to pick up was very long. Then the only card I had was my debit cards. Even though I had a photo of my Mastercard they said they could not use it so I did not get to rent a car. Budget will take debit cards so I thought I would use Budget again, They were booked, which is why my son rented a car for me at Thrifty online using his card.
