Cons: I made the reservation and paid in advance, only to find when arriving at the counter that I’ve been placed on a Do not rent ban. The staff at the counter could not tell me why or help me any further and made me call a customer service line, where I waited for 20 minutes on hold. Since I was in a time crunch, I had to walk away and rent with a different service.
Why did Hertz not flag my account when I paid for my reservation in advance, instead of wasting my time when I was already ready to pick up the car? Who knows. I still have not been able to get through to their specific phone line to figure out why my account has been blocked, after calling multiple times. I last rented with Hertz a few months ago, and never received any notice about my account being blocked.

Cons: The person that is at Hertz setting you up should tell customers that a $200.00 hold up charge will be added. That way customers don't get surprised when checking bank statements.
Pros: At least accommodated a change of drop off given all the hassle
Cons: Specifically didn't get the convertible that we ordered, despite choosing a Hertz a long way away just because they confirmed they would have one available
Pros: pick up and drop off was quick and easy. Manager Latasia was helpful and super friendly.
Cons: In my case, I can't think of any necessary changes/improvement that needs to be done.
Pros: We were not able to rent the car because of the whole COVID-19 issue.
Cons: Somebody in China a few months ago could’ve chosen not to eat a snake that ate a bat and this whole issue would never have taken place. We could have rented our car and had a great vacation and I am sure I would’ve written a great review.
Cons: The person at the pick-up booked all the insurances possible, even though I specifically told him that I do not want that.
Cons: The magnetic strip on my credit card was not working properly. Despite having a chip on the card and a debit card on hand, I was told I could not rent the vehicle. I cannot believe a company like Hertz only operates with the magnetic strip on a card.
Pros: The staff was not helpful or friendly. As I did not have a credit card I was refused pick up and was instructed even though it was prepaid I wouldn't be able to get the car and for a refund to contact the 3rd party

Pros: Everyone was super freindly, professiona and personable. Most efficient turn in ever. The staff were all pleasant; the facility spotless; even the restrooms wer exceptionally clean.
Cons: I commented to my husband that it was th best rental experience ever.
