Narrow middle seat in Boeing 777 (10 abreast) instead of 9. Boarding one an a half hour late.
Dealing with customer service was a terrible experience. Our flight was changed by the computer system to a different flight a full day later, and we were given no option to change it. It took us a full 6 hours of waiting before we could actually talk to a human on the phone to help us get it fixed. Then we had to talk to customer service at the airport as well which was a 90 minute wait. The employees were wonderful and helpful when we talked to them, but the wait time was unacceptable.

When we tried to explain the situation he hung up on us. We called back and tried to explain again we either spoke to the same man or another Indian man whom also spoke unintelligible English and he also hung up on us. In the mean time my wife spoke with the counter agents and they tried to find us another flight but by now other airline counters were closed. An hour later I tried the 800 number again and spoke again with the same Indian guy, when I asked to speak to a manager he gave me a hard time then finally said ok, put me on hold which I stayed for a while and realized he just put me on hold indefinitely. Finally after being in the airport for 9 hours we found a flight from United and a family member booked it online for us which we took to Tel Aviv and got us here only 2 hours later than our original flight which had a 12 hour layover in London and we were going to spend time touring but did not get to. As far as I am concerned British Airways has done a horrible job and no one should ever fly with them again. Unfortunately our flight home is with them I hope it goes smooth."

However, after takeoff it became apparent that there were some empty seats, but they weren't offered to us. One man was asleep across three exit row seats, for example. We had two seats in a three seat row, which would have given us a bit more room, but a woman was moved to the window seat with us, to accommodate a religious man who didn't want to sit next to her. She was very nice, but the whole situation was annoying and distasteful. And, unfortunately, the food was just as bad as our last flight."

The crew said that 60 minutes is the designated minimum but we used all of the 80 minutes plus, and it airport was NOT crowded. If BA is connecting to BA, then you have a responsibility ahead of time to address this problem and keep connecting passengers from getting overly distressed in a strange airport."

Pros: "The entertainment system is pretty good. Touch screens work great, and you can charge your phone. The plane itself is fairly up-to-date, and the headrest is adjustable and very comfortable."
Cons: "I am 6' / 183cm and 210lbs / 95 kg. The seats are quite narrow, and little legroom. I don't think I'll fly them again."

They brushed off my questions with one word answers and then it turned out that we were 10 minutes late arriving and I missed my connection. The customer service people who were supposed to re-book me, actually tried to blame me for missing the connection! Overall, not a great experience -- very inefficient process with no one at the airline taking responsibility. Won't fly again if I have the choice."

Cons: "Very hard to get any information about connective flights. I had 1 hour between the flights and I asked the assistant at the passport control to help me to get through, she said that everyone needs to stay in the same line. I pushed myself through, which I never do, and run all the way to the gate, and hardly made my flight. It is very hard to get any information because most employees don't speak English. I will never fly with Iberia again. I would rather pay more and fly with another company. I was very upset about my flying experience."
Cons: "The cramped space"
Pros: "The entertainment is great, I always appreciate a good movie selection for long haul flights. The space is ok and the seats recline well. The blankets and pillows were warm and comfortable too. Food was remarkably edible."
Cons: "The beverage services should come around more often. Two cups of water during a 9 hour flight just aren't adequate."
Pros: "For a long haul, Iberia's standard class was fine and the seat actually had more room than I expected (having flown them in Europe). One flight attendant was AWESOME and helped me out when my gluten-free meal didn't arrive. I would say she went from ok to friendly so maybe not AWESOME but compared to the other flight attendants who weren't friendly at all, she was good."
Cons: "1. My gluten-free meal didn't arrive. AA pulled the same nonsense when I went from LAX to LHR. It is pretty infuriating. 2. My entertainment screen failed about 1/2 way through the flight. I came prepared but it was still annoying. 3. I pre-paid for a seat which was a hassle because the transaction failed with a cryptic message online and I had to call. When I went to check-in, I had a window, not aisle and was positioned at the very back of the plane. I requested a refund on the phone and that wasn't allowed so I tweeted (as they adverstise) and now filled a claim. Still no response."

Pros: "The in flight movie selection was great. They were generous with providing us wine and complementary in flight entertainment . Didn't have to pay extra to check our bags."

We paid extra foe exit row seats and they allowed someone to sir across from my husband in the flight attendant seat they use during landing and take off. He sat there the entire flight. He was tall with long legs and took away from my husbands leg room which is why we paid extra for the exit row seats. Not sure if he worked for the airline as he was dressed in regular street clothes but annoying all the same."

Cons: "Airline switched to smaller plane after check-in, we were bumped off. Instead of direct flight from Madrid to Tel Aviv, we were routed through Vienna. Instead of 4.5 hours, it took us more than 12."
