Poor trainingCons:My flight was delayed and when I called I was informed that the counter would stay open for me. Upon arrival, they were closed. When I called I was informed that the prior representative I spoke to before my flight left didn't get my flight information. I went with a different company and we were able to enjoy our trip!!Reviewed 2018 Sep 18

Alamo doesn’t honor extra day charges with contractPros:Car was clean and functional. The on-site staff was friendly.Cons:I needed to extend the rental agreement by several days (3) due to a family hospital visit/illness. Despite the extra days of charges listed on the contract at $63 base per day, Alamo tried to jack up the base rate to $105 per day. How about honoring a contract? turned the car back in and used Uber instead on principal alone.Reviewed 2018 Jun 25

Counter Agent MaureenPros:The counter agent Maureen was excellent...she gave us destination directions that saved us alot of time and tolls.Cons:Their was only one agent at the desk when we arrive at the 5:00pm busy time. We waited quite a while for counter service.Reviewed 2018 Apr 24

Too many surprises with AlamoCons:1. I was charged for a second driver although National (the same company) does not charge for a colleague from the same company. 2. When we picked up the car, and couldn't get the back hatch open, the attendant directed us to another SUV, for which I was charged more than the original rental.Reviewed 2018 Apr 12
