Cons: Tight rooms for two travelers with large bags

Cons: Waking up to a 45 degree room and being told that a refund was not possible. They did provide a space heater, but after a few hours it only raised the temperature to 49 degrees. No refund?! The Godfrey said I have to get the refund through the website. I expect a runaround.

Cons: A little expensive

Cons: First room far to loud (trucks unloading / loading 5 am); second room not so loud, but still noisy. Strange inventory: No hooks to hang coats etc. Only one shelf for shirts in the wardrobe, no other furniture witgh drawers (underware etc.) half of the wardrobe full of ironong board. No hooks to hang bathrobe and bigger towels in the bathroom. small selection at breakfast, every day the same. Loud music allready at breakfast. No bowls for yoghurt and esreal to mix, except small plastic cups. All breakfast cups, spoons etc. plastic (lots of vaste) hardly any tables to eat breakfast (sofas. lounge chairs etc.) Over all feeling like a grown up youth hostel

Cons: Menu options and Room Service could be better (and available 24/7), instead of limited until 11 pm

Cons: Room had a strange layout, was very dark. Only had 1 window to an inner courtyard, very dark.

Cons: Booked a two bedroom with a third party site,didn't have that option so I called up the hotel to see if there was an option. Was told to just mark in underspecial request and they would have it for me. When I checked in was given a small King size room and says that's what we booked. Told the manager who talked to us what happened and she says we never made the request. I pulled up the reservation on myphone and showed her the request, then she says its first come first serve basis. Only room left for the night was a $80 upgrade was a four class upgrade to a suite which was much bigger and had two TVs, so I took it, had no other option. Walked into the room and if that was a four class upgrade I would hate to see a regular room. Room was very small, only one TV. Don't get me wrong, hotel was very nice. Big screen TV,nice showers and towels, but felt very very very cheated. Along with the $52 for parking it was like spending $600 a night for a small room.......Really??

Cons: Ok to be picky no restaurant mostly coffee shops and food concession s but this encourages you to go further and Boston is easy to get about .ok bar is limited but what they do offer in very good but it's no pub .old fashioned. is outstanding but only few bottled beers no draft

Cons: TV program transmission quality was spotty. Glass shower screen led to wet bathroom floor and soaking bath mats after every shower. Ice machine hard to locate and not on every floor.

Cons: Restaurants weren’t open long enough

Cons: They offer room service, but it's from the restaurant next door called Back Deck and the food wasn't just sub-par, it was bad. I ordered a burger that was burnt, it says it comes with french fries but it comes with dry, tasteless, potato wedges. We had our room upgraded to an executive suite, and it was still incredibly small. The staff is new and it is very obvious when you check in. They couldn't find where the card keys were or how to activate them which I would expect to be hotel staff 101. For as nice as the hotel is, there's a definitely a lack of professionalism in the lobby staff. And for whoever posted that there's a welcoming bar in the lobby, it hasn't even been opened yet, so....

Cons: Room was a fairly small. Dresser in the hall made for tight passage between the bedroom and the bathroom.

Cons: Jeez, the standard rooms are tiny with hard to access closet and no side table on one side of the bed. We were offered a larger room for another $40 and should have taken it!

Cons: Offsite Valet Parking was $52 per day, raising the effective room rate cost by that amount. Bed was too soft to be comfortable for my taste. No onsite restaurant

Cons: Our faucet was leaky and there was no coffee or nespresso machine in the room despite their own website saying the room would have that. They offered to move us to a new room, but that’s a hassle over a very minor inconvenience.

Cons: No AC on a 90 degree day in June. Room was NOT clean and smelled. The carpet was not vacuumed and we have a 15 month old son. HUGE bugs crawling on floor. Paid over $550 for one night and check in was after 4! Really truly disgusting. Told the front desk and all they said was “sorry by you pre paid for the room” We come into Boston frequently - will absolutely never consider this an option in the future.

Cons: Slow elevators , maid service didn't provide basic necessities and ignored written request, staff not friendly - needed extra room key and was told to come back later due to limited number.

Cons: Elevators were a bit slow and got backed up during peak times of check-in and departure.

Cons: Insufficient soundproofing. Avoid avoid avoid 6th floor: that's where the pool is and kids are very loud when walking and running along the corridor. We couldn't check in at 3:30pm and the room was not ready until 4:30pm, half hour past the check in time of 4pm.

Cons: Don't leave your car in valet for over the 24 hour period or you will be charged $27 for 1 1/2 hours over... Still don't understand the Math there!

Cons: Extremely dirty. Unclean pillows and mattress. Not washed bathrooms.

Cons: The heating unit in the room was noisy. The breakfast was skimpy; commercial granola bars, oranges, bananas, coffee from machine (all impersonal).

Cons: Our room was not very well kept. It was dusty, the bed hadn't been changed I believe, the sheets and pillow case was dirty and hairy, and the bathroom smelled like ciggaretes and was kind of dirty. the room was better than a motel so it wasn't the worst, just a little too pricey for the kind of quality you end up getting.

Cons: The elevators were slow and unreliable and there are apparently not stairs for use. There isn't a ton to do in the immediate area but you are only a couple minutes walk from a lot of the stuff you'd like to see.

Cons: The air exchange in my 11th floor room was intermittently noisy. I could not sleep. The staff put me in a different (and slightly larger) room the next day, but were not particularly apologetic. They seemed indifferent.

Cons: The bed was too firm. Had a hard wire around the edge of the mattress. No Iron, No Microwave, No Fridge. The shower was tiny.. really small. Not comfortable at all.

Cons: I didn't like that my room didn't have an ironing board & safe. In my opinion those two should be a no brainier & standard.

Cons: Location was very loud. It was friday night and the noise outside did not stop until after 4am (car horns, loud drunk prople, police sirens). We literally got no sleep due to the extreme noise.

Cons: I did like the fact I thought I was getting a king size bed only to find out when I got there it was a full size bed then had to pay another 40 dollars for a king

Cons: The blinds. We had an interior room with the window looking out into the hallway. No big deal except that they used a $15 Wal-Mart blinds on that window and had a blue light in the hallway that was on all night long. The room was bright...all night long. If you're a person that is at all sensitive to light in your room at night, this may be a deal breaker. If you're management reading this, put up some blackout curtains or turn the stupid light off at night! This was my only qualm, otherwise it was a great place.

Cons: No in-room coffee, very weak shower stream, no breakfast buffet, no desk, AC that blows right on you, lights that are impossible to adjust.

Cons: We stayed in a "Cabin" Whig meant our room was literally in the basement of them hotel and provided no windows. It was also quite small

Cons: heat in room was uncontrollable. had AC set to 60 degrees with windows open and it was stifling hot in the room all the time. literally sweating thru the night.

Cons: Staff, difficult to work with. Room was not clean (mold in the bath tub, sinks leaked)

Cons: Everything costs money... Parking is $51 extra per night. Wifi is $40 extra per night... King Rooms are tiny... Staff isn't friendly... Hallways are dark... Some valet people are rude, others are absolute dolls... And the lobby is depressing and sets the vibe for the rest of the hotel... Couldn't control heat, felt like cold air was blowing on us all night.

Cons: They asked if I'd like a spacious room.. I got a regular one oddly shaped. They had construction going and woke me up with drills and hammers at 730am both the nights I was there

Cons: There was a loud commotion outside from one of the area bars at 2am that continued for 20 minutes. I could hear it from all the way up on the 11th floor

Cons: Hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. Moldy showers, dilapidated bathroom ceilings from prior water damage, and loud malfunctioning air conditioning units all were unpleasant.

Cons: Service in the hotel bar. Ordered mimosas while we waited for our car. 4 different waitresses came over to get our order (after we'd already placed it). 10 minutes later, still sans mimosa, I asked one of them if they were coming. As it turns out they won't serve alcohol before 11 AM. Probably something worth mentioning when someone orders!!!!

Cons: The only thing that didn't quite work was the fact that I was relying fully on public transportation and it is a solid walk from the closet T stop. I could do it, but if you have kids, or ladies, if you're wearing heels, plan to take 'em off to get there!

Cons: The appointments were a little less than expected considering the expense/level of accommodation. Nothing major. The furniture was sub-par - the drawers didn't close well, the closet door light weight. The phone lines did not work. There was on-going remodeling work to which the trouble with the phones might be attributed however the issue was not resolved within our four night stay.
