Pros: The Seaport Boston Hotel seems to have been recently upgraded, as the rooms are quite modern, comfortable and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the bedside buttons to set the door to privacy, and turn off the lights. I was also impressed by the hotel's environmental focus. There were two bins in the room--one for trash and the other for recycling. The customer service was great and I also liked that tipping is not allowed. Gratuity is automatically included in the restaurant (just 18%) and the doormen do not accept tips for helping with bags. I also used the business center and was surprised to find that use of the scanner, copier and printers was free. I was able to print documents for a presentation for free. I had a great experience as this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.
Cons: I don't have any criticisms of this hotel!

Pros: All of the staff at the front desk and door were very friendly and helpful with directions. The location was very convenient to walk to Fenway Park. We also walked to the Copley Square area. There was a nearby subway stop to take us to the Freedom Trail area downtown. We felt very safe to walk the neighborhood at night. The room itself was quaint, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a walk-in marble shower. The towels were large and plush. It fit our needs very well.
Cons: We had no view out of our room. Looked out on an alley way and trash dumpster.

Cons: Booked a two bedroom with a third party site,didn't have that option so I called up the hotel to see if there was an option. Was told to just mark in underspecial request and they would have it for me. When I checked in was given a small King size room and says that's what we booked. Told the manager who talked to us what happened and she says we never made the request. I pulled up the reservation on myphone and showed her the request, then she says its first come first serve basis. Only room left for the night was a $80 upgrade was a four class upgrade to a suite which was much bigger and had two TVs, so I took it, had no other option. Walked into the room and if that was a four class upgrade I would hate to see a regular room. Room was very small, only one TV. Don't get me wrong, hotel was very nice. Big screen TV,nice showers and towels, but felt very very very cheated. Along with the $52 for parking it was like spending $600 a night for a small room.......Really??

Pros: Location was outstanding. The interior of the hotel was impeccable - obviously new. The bed was probably the most luxurious of any hotel bed I have slept in. Bose Bluetooth speaker provided ambiance to the room. Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

Pros: We stayed there 5 days after it opened, the rooms were clean, the lobby was nice, and posh. The beds were very comfortable and the room has Bluetooth Bose speakers as well as smart TVs.
Cons: They offer room service, but it's from the restaurant next door called Back Deck and the food wasn't just sub-par, it was bad. I ordered a burger that was burnt, it says it comes with french fries but it comes with dry, tasteless, potato wedges. We had our room upgraded to an executive suite, and it was still incredibly small. The staff is new and it is very obvious when you check in. They couldn't find where the card keys were or how to activate them which I would expect to be hotel staff 101. For as nice as the hotel is, there's a definitely a lack of professionalism in the lobby staff. And for whoever posted that there's a welcoming bar in the lobby, it hasn't even been opened yet, so....

Strange inventory: No hooks to hang coats etc. Only one shelf for shirts in the wardrobe, no other furniture witgh drawers (underware etc.) half of the wardrobe full of ironong board. No hooks to hang bathrobe and bigger towels in the bathroom. small selection at breakfast, every day the same. Loud music allready at breakfast. No bowls for yoghurt and esreal to mix, except small plastic cups. All breakfast cups, spoons etc. plastic (lots of vaste) hardly any tables to eat breakfast (sofas. lounge chairs etc.) Over all feeling like a grown up youth hostel

Pros: Arrived in Boston just in time for a heavy snowfall accompanied with a vicious wind. Being from snowy Colorado I was well aware of fast changing weather conditions. The Westin staff were also aware and took on the opportunity to show off their talent. These people know how to take care of customers with their great service, personalities and that always lovely humor. I'll be back!

Pros: I love the convenience, it is by far the most convenient hotel in Boston, it has a T stop in walking distance, it has a shaws right across the street, it has a connecting tunnel to shopping malls, has great bars and restaurants inside, and connected to the convention center as well as the sheraton where my friends were staying. the beds were so comfy. the pool and hot tub were well maintained especially considering the amount of people. The other thing I loved was the doormen they were amazing at helping me with my very heavy cumbersome bag and getting me a taxi I loved their manners!
Cons: When I first arrived to check in the person checking me in said I had two reservations, for two rooms, one paid for one not. I was pretty freaked when I heard this because they asked me to pay again at the desk. I contacted Kayak and according to the nice lady from the company she took care of everything and she did it was not on my bill. My complaint is that it shouldnt have been an issue to begin with, how stupid was the guy at the front desk? Kayak has been good to me with reservations why was that an issue? I actually dont understand how that would have even happened to begin with. My other complaint is even though I KNOW there were several conventions in town that weekend, I was really upset that my friends at the Sheraton got to have an extended check out till 2pm when I KNOW almost EVERY Marriott I have stayed at before has extended check out, the book says they offered it and the lady on the phone said they did NOT offer it specifically because of the convention. I don't see it as far if a hotel attached to the same convention center with the same amount of people could have it and I could not. Especially since the Marriott was a far nicer establishment the hotel room I stayed in and hotel in general was far better kept and polished then the Sheraton. So that was my only true disappointment. Especially since I did not have to check out, I was all set and would just leave. I understand as my mother used to work for Marriott that the maids have to come in and clean asap before new people check in around 4. But still, that just...was odd. In a hotel that large usually they have maids for a lot longer so, I guess I am just missing something.

Cons: We arrived early and hotel did accommodate our luggage which was great. However, the front desk promised to call when our room was ready - promising by four p.m. I didn't think 4 pm is the standard check in time. When it was after 5pm and we hadn't been contacted, we took a chance and went back to hotel. Had to stand in a long line to finally get our room. Wasn't a good start for what was to be a well deserved RELAXING vacation.

I am sure when I made my reservation through Kayak that in the description of the room it read that internet access was included. I called the concierge desk but they were of no help to me. As nice as my stay was, I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it. The elevators were a mess during my stay too. Everyone staying there was upset and complaining about the incredibly long wait times.

Pros: Can't argue with the location. We were able to walk inside the hotel to the mall across the bridge and right into the MBTA station without even walking outside! A plus for Boston winters! The Champions restaurant in the hotel is a little pricey for our tastes, but the food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. We frequently asked the staff in the lobby places to eat and how to get places, etc and each time we were met with a friendly face and knowledgeable information. We were able to even check out using our TV, which made our rushed exit so easy! Our room was also cleaned by ~10:30am (one day we went to breakfast and came back around ~10:30 and it was already done). People on this website also complained about the elevators being slow - we didn't experience that. We stayed on the 26th floor. There were elevators 1-27 and other ones that went to the higher floors which we didnt use, but didn't see people waiting around for them either.
Cons: There was an extremely faint electronic beeping noise that me and my husband heard every night falling asleep; nothing that prohibited us from falling asleep, but I will say that I noticed it each night as I was falling asleep. A little pricey, but warranted given the location; we also didn't pay for parking as we had a family member with a free garage spot at work across town.

Pros: Even under construction, the Revere is a wonderful place to stay. Easy walking distance to Boston Common, Chinatown and the Theater District. The staff were wonderful. Especially Richard Pettiglio, the Concierge, who went well out of his way to make sure our stay was exceptional.
Cons: My ONLY dislikes were: way too little counter space in the bathroom, and that construction shut down half of the elevators during the peak checkout time. Folks with luggage were waiting for > 20 minutes for room in an elevator. The front desk staff did their best, however were definitely understaffed to handle the checkout volume.

We couldn't adjust the AC except to two temperatures: 68 and 74. 3) No mirror in the room. 4) No refrigerator or mini-bar in the room. 5) No blow dryer. 6) Waited 15 minutes for an elevator, then couldn't get on it was so crowded. 7) Rude, arrogant staff except for Serena, and the day GM, who tried to help but wasn't around to do much until it was too late. They even had a game section on the bookshelves for kids and families. The portico was very unique and mostly sheltered. The staff was very polite and helpful. The view from the rooms with the little balconies was a beautiful touch. The wall of windows in your room was wonderful. The late check out noon, the fact that they would store your bags in a locked room with a video monitor and would tagbyour bags they were holding like you were boarding a plane.

The room was a standard king that was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two. We were provided a mini fridg gratis. We had 4 adults in one room since one of our sons lives in the building next door. We figured we would be at his apartment most of the time and wanted to save on rooms. There was plenty of room to move around even with all the luggage. The queen size beds were much appreciated by all and the large bathroom with separate tub and shower never felt crowded. We loved the back lawn area overlooking the water. We sat out there and had cocktails and played a game of corn hole/bags with our sons.

Gaby, over in reception, deserves special praise for going out of her way to help two stranded women who had no food and could not speak English. Amazing staff!

The ability to walk from the hotel directly into Terminal A, which is primarily for Delta (or E, which is for international flights) is exceptional. Less than 10 minutes without having to go outside. Easy access via Uber to excellent local restaurants. Hotel shuttle to the T’s Blue Line for easy subway access into Boston downtown.
Cons: The hotel rooms are getting a bit tired. Attention to detail could be better. We were on Floor 6. Ice machine did not work on Floors 6 or 5. Not inexpensive, but then again that can be said for Boston hotels generally.

Cons: The TV channels offered should be embarrassing to the Hilton chain. Basic channels and for the ALCS, you do not even carry baseball channels. I stayed here specifically to watch the series and to find that "no, we don't have that, just a few channels" was just aggravating. The front desk also told me you also have no movies in the room, "we have HBO but we can't tell you what is on it" and to have absolutely NO TV program guide, either in the room or at the desk is indefensible. I have had better at Red Roof Inn and Super 8's on the road. I urge others to find another hotel, despite the convenience...which is suspect as well. The shuttle took almost 30 minutes to get to the airport folks, due to traffic.

Cons: The hilton would not honor the double room I booked without an argument. I booked a double and they claimed to only have single king bed available. They claimed booking thru a third party was no guarantee. In the end we got the handicapped room but it was totally aggravating. I guarantee they overbooked bc a student group was there and they obviously can't place students in one bed. It was not super clean. Mold in sinks and lobby toilets were clogged.

Neither one said they were sorry about the mix up, never smiled, kept saying they were totally booked — we had been walking in the rain from the bus and obviously needed help. Pros: This hotel was stunning! We were instantly greeted by professional and friendly valet and escorted into the lobby, which is breathtaking. Cons: Had to move rooms 3, almost 4, times. The whole situation was handled very poorly until we finally were helped by a manager. Just wish it did not have to get that far... Overall, the hotel is extremely outdated, struggled to control the temperature in the room and the walls were so thin we heard a screaming child all night. Images online are extremely deceiving and lead to a disappointing experience as a whole.

Pros: Although small, the room was comfortable and the shower quite lovely. Plenty of hot water in the morning. A blizzard was expected so I decided to check out a day early, and this was hassle free. I did not ask for the name of the person who helped me with the checkout, but she was very polite and extremely helpful. The door man and valet folks were quick to bring my car and wish me a safe journey. Overall a very pleasant stay and I was able to accomplish that which I was in town for.
Cons: I found sleep very difficult due to the noise level throughout the first night of my stay, which was a Tuesday. Many drunk people coming to rooms late very loud in the hallway and then one couple in the room next to mine arguing until approximately 4am.

Pros: The location of this hotel is wonderful, as is the antiquity. The rooms are small, but I expect that in cities and I usually gravitate to boutique hotels so I am fine with the size. The valet parking staff was actually the most outstanding of all the staff we encompassed. Outstanding actually. The bed was much more comfortable than I thought it would be.
Cons: It's dirty. I went to plug in a cord and there was a good 1/4 inch of dust along all the base boards. Yuck! The bathroom also was just not clean. Wall paper was peeling up from the wall in a couple of places - seriously have maintenance go around with some glue. There was scaffolding left outside our window on the 5th floor - unsafe and most unattractive not to mention the worker standing on it at 8:00am. The front desk never mentioned it when we checked in, if they had I probably would have asked for a different room. It was also the first time I had to pay for internet in a hotel in Boston. If this room had been half the price I paid I would have the same view point, but wouldn't be so annoyed. I seem to get more annoyed when I think about it.

Pros: Pictures online were nothing like the actual rooms. They're renovating the entire place for March 2015 so it looks like it will be nice then, but the rooms weren't nice at all now. Walls are very thin do you could hear conversations in other rooms (not to mention the bathroom). Fire alarm went off at 6:30 am too and had I not been up there is no way we would've heard it.
